Once Kerik accepted, Bush took a few minutes to explain why hed chosen him. He told Kerik he believed that few people had a better understanding of terrorist threats to America, based on his ground-level, front-line experience with the NYPD on September 11, and in Iraq. He also said he believed Kerik could effectively communicate the seriousness of those threats to the American people. But then he got to the heart of the matter. He used an expression Id never heard before, Kerik says. He told me he wanted someone to go in there and break some china.WTF is this supposed to mean???
Bush wants someone to be Director of Homeland Security and 'break some china'????
Sounds very ominous. Almost like Bush wants DHS to *create* problems that they can solve.

If Bernie was trying to launch a career as a wrestler, this story might fly.
He'd be a hit in the ring billed as "Battered NY Bernie," hailing from the town without pity.
Bernie's trying like hell to start a security business, trying to refurbish his bona fides, vainly trying to sanitize away all the dirt clinging to him.
Bernie learned nothing from this experience..........you don't take a swipe at the president in order to build yourself up.

Members of the New York City Police Department are fobidden to dine in a few restaurants within Little Italy. They are owned by the mob. Any officer seen there will be watching traffic cams in Queens for the rest of their natural life.
Kerik dined there often and along with his other actions as Police Commissioner made it very plain that the rules were not meant for him.

This whole Kerik episode did not help Giuliani. It raised so many questions about the two of them.
