NOW LEBANESE DEMAND FREEDOM, DEMOCRACY. THANK YOU, MR. BUSH
MichNews.com ^ | Feb 28, 2005 | J. Grant Swank, Jr.

United States President George W. Bush must be heaven-blessed. His prayers are being answered, place by place, time by time.

Since the November Bush victory vote, much has occurred, so much so that it can be mind boggling yet most pleasant.

Now Lebanese grassroots real-life human beings are screaming to the skies for freedom — real liberties. They are extremely exhausted with dictatorships and lies and death.

They sleep in the square awaiting the new day to clamor for liars to get out of government. They awake to dawn in order to stream their freedom banners in the breezes. Even police sent there by the despotic government join in to smile upon the democracy enthusiasts. After all, police are exhausted, too.

So it is that, according to the AP, Lebanese filled up the morning and afternoon today with shouting. One would have thought he was in a old-time gospel tent meeting. Shouts shouts and more shouts for victory personified — in each citizen’s life.

They shouted: "Syria out!" They shouted: ``We want no other army in Lebanon except the Lebanese army!'' They shouted: ``Freedom, sovereignty, independence!''

Thank you, Mr. Bush.

No one could shut them up. They were determined. They’ve had it with corrupt politic. They see a New Iraq democracy come into being, with much sacrifice, nevertheless, rising out of the blood into blossoms real.

They witness a Ukraine now overseen by liberty champions.

They read about Afghanistan’s republic built upon a brand-new, never-had-before Constitution.

Now Lebanese, fed up with Syrian intrusion and a pro-Syrian head, demand their own democracy-planting.

Their prayers are being answered. Just as Mr. Bush’s prayers are being answered. Just as the Red State voters who stood in line upon line are seeing their prayers answered. Prayer is power. God is still on His throne. The devil must cower. Demons must flee. The Christ who created this planet rejoices when His people intercede, not only for their own eternal souls but for the planet upon which they reside.

Amen.

Time for Assad to pack it up and get out of lebanon NOW. Then he should start to look at a retirement plan, before he suffers saddam or his sons' fate.

One day, Americans will secretly build rickety rafts and paddle away to the freedom of Cuba.....

We have a very serious enemy within, one that is panicked beyond belief and willing to put sheep's clothing over its marxist, socialist countenance in order to be more acceptable.

The left has been exposed like never before, and their very being has become replusive as their willingness to do ANYTHING to win becomes seared upon the American heart.

(Women vote for the first time in their history)

Pakistan agrees to help USA hunt, kill and capture
Taliban and Al Queda terrorists.

Iraqi citizens risk death threats to vote. They elect
representatives who will draft a Constitution.
(They have a larger % of voter turnout than ours)

(The USA calls for no interference from Russia
and pro democracy government is elected.)

(they are working together for a lasting peace)

Lebanese citizens protest Syria occupation.
(Syrian backed government resigns yesterday.
and Syria agrees to remove occupying troops)

"As the rest of the world moves towards freedom, we allow ours to be taken."

As the tide of freedom surges accross the globe it will surely wash away some of the grime here.
First things first. We can't have the freedom we want here until we defeat the jihadis there. Then we can roll back the liberal tyranny with the political capitol.

We have to be willing to hold our leaders GOP or not to account for their votes, with ours.

"Thank you, Mr. Bush." That is just killing the left in this country. They have to be suicidal.

I agree with you. The seriousness of anti-American Americans can't be ignored. I try to make it a point to friends of the left of center crowd that nobody is "out to get them".

I think that they are more violent-prone then conservatives. After all, Lee Harvey Oswald was a Communist. But that leftists are violent should be obvious since it's their politics that demand death for unborn, invalids, mentally handicapped from severe trauma, and the elderly.

I think that such is too cowardly for a brazen attack, but they'd hold on to what they think they own with a death grip (be it a solidly blue state like Washington appeared to be, public school prisons, social programs failures, etc.).

I pray for my enemies. I think I'll buy Mass cards for them. Maybe they'll listen to Jesus calling them.
