Red may be Hellery's politics, but it is definitely NOT her color!

She just can't help herself. The more she tries to be centrist the more the true left wing radical shows her face. If the Dim's think they can put a far left northeastern pol in the White House they need some serious help.

You have forgotton her ramblings during the Boxer Rebellion.

Touche. Yes, I'll admit, I had forgotten Hillary's classic Marxist formulaton, addressing a wealthy crowd:

"We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut [tax cuts] short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

I guess sometimes she does get off script and let her socialist side show.

smartest woman

LOL!

She's so smart maybe she'll ask Patsy Thomasson - top lieutenant of convicted cocaine dealer Dan Lasater, then White House chief of personnel to be her VP candidate.

;-)

I don't know about him but I do know HIllary is running and running as a centrist. She is doing well posing as a conservative dem and if we use alot of vitriol on her, she is going to pick up votes.

That said, it is interesting that when she speaks to give an opinion, she usually gaffes. Not lately, but this was a good one.

"I actually agree with her. From what I have seen, this guy is very close to being a theocrat and thats not what the world needs right now. "

Yeah, she only said that so when this guy tries to turn Iraq into a puppet state of Iran, she can say "I told you so". It's all so predictable. From the moment Bush decided to invade.

After all, the successful accomplishments if the Bush administration must be erased.Which brings around the theory that Democrats survive on mediocrity.

Not what I said. Perhaps you need to reread what I said...

Her assesment is that the new leader of Iraq has close ties to Iran. This is true and nothing you will say can refute that. I was simply saying that I am also concerned about him and what he may do in relation to how Iran is ran. If you arent concerned based on the guys past being so cozy with Iran, perhaps dropping your partisan crap and looking at the issue will help?

Just because the guy says Hillary is misinformed doesn't mean he isnt talking out of the other side of his mouth and not mentioning the motives he is most certainly not going to share (if he has motives).

He also could be an honest man who has no theocratic plans. I am just looking at the guys past history. It is enough to give pause.

Here is the explanation that I recall hearing explaining why Jafari went to Iran.

When Saddam was in power, there were only two places to flee.

One, if you were wealthy, was to London.

The other was to escape to Tehran.

Jafari, a doctor, but not wealthy, fled to Iran. After 10 years or so, he moved to London.

I can not recall the source, except that it was a talk radio program.

"I think that there are grounds both for concern and for, you know, vigilance about this," she told NBC's "Meet the Press.

Ah, the Hillary "ya know" rears its ugly head again. Good to see she still manages to throw them around from time to time. It assures me that she is still a PR nightmare when unscripted, and makes me think that she'll never survive a national campaign.

I know, I wasn't restating what you posted. My opinion is no one's but my own. Perhaps you think I was being sarcastic? I wasn't. When I post sarcasm I always identify it with a (/<sarcasm) tag in order to avoid misunderstandings just like this.

you said; "He also could be an honest man who has no theocratic plans."

Sixty to seventy percent of all Iraqi's have "theocratic plans". That is why he was elected. It would be surprising if he didn't have "theocratic plans". He doesn't have to be dishonest to have "theocratic plans."

Does anyone still believe the majority Iraqi's want democracy? Most want theocracy. Thats what they have always wanted. To expect that a democratic election would result in democracy is naive at best.
