A delightful country, Norway, and Norwegians some of the finest people in the world.

If one wishes to be on the "Norway Ping List," please pign or e-mail me--but alas it is pretty much guaranteed to be a low-intensity ping list, because nothing much happens in Norway.

Norway is the Nebraska of Europe; a decent-sized country in square footage, clean spacious scenery, and highly-literate, well-educated, well-mannered people.....the problem being, there are just not many people.

The article claims that Norway is "a new member of the UN Security Council", but that does not appear to be true based on the UN's website.

The new members for 2005 are Japan, Denmark, Argentina, Greece and Tanzania.
