Frank,

The article claims that Norway is "a new member of the UN Security Council", but that does not appear to be true based on the UN's website.

The new members for 2005 are Japan, Denmark, Argentina, Greece and Tanzania.

My error, sir.

I work nights, and this had been posted in the morning, when I was sleepier than Al Gore's wife you-know-whatting with her husband; just not all here.

That news-release was from January 2001; it came from a search on Google, and I had entered all the information for posting on Free Republic, when, ooops, I noticed the date.

Too late, because I was about ready to keel over from lack of sleep. But in the future, when describing Norway, I will be more diligent, more thorough, about "timeliness."

However, sir, it does seem odd that one of the very first items in Google, about Norway, is a four-year-old news-release.....as if not much happens there.
