Abortion May Drag Us To History's Grave
The Kansas City Star; The Illinois Leader ^ | April 24th, 2004 | Connie Lynne Carrillo

Posted on 01/22/2005 7:00:29 AM PST by NorthOfTheRiver

While I sipped my tea and listened to the rain patter, the History Channel dug up a dead civilization and found a large sewer that held thousands of baby bones, victims of infanticide, a common practice of this ancient, forgotten society.

Anthropologists tell us two of the biggest indicators of a doomed civilization are the practice of infanticide and human sacrifice. In other words, cultures and species that kill their own young do not survive. If history really does repeat itself, then American society may also be doomed to extinction.

What will future archaeologists discover when they dig up America? We have a highly sophisticated form of disposal of our young, before birth rather than after. But are we, in reality, practicing a sanitized version of infanticide and human sacrifice?

This freelance article was originally published in The Kansas City Star newspaper to coincide with the Pro Abortion March for Women's Lives held last April in Washington, DC. It has been reprinted numerous times and is still running on many sites on the internet. In recognition of the anniversary on Jan 24th of Roe vs. Wade, the most devastatingly damaging Supreme Court decision in the history of America, this column has become a classic dissenting opinion. May we never forget these precious, lost generations.

"In other words, cultures and species that kill their own young do not survive."

Wow!!

Thank you for this article. Quite a revelation, what about those of us who try to stop this horrid killing of our young? Do we have a chance of stopping the doom of our nation?
Or is it too late?

I honestly believe we have a fighting chance, in part, because of this:

The Wall Street Journals brilliant James Taranto calls this the "Roe Effect": Democrats are gradually shrinking in numbers since they murder their babies, killing off future generations of democrats.

My corollary to this is that Democrat Party replenishes its numbers by indoctrination and brainwashing of naive young people through the party's massive control of the media and entertainment industries.

Thank you so much for printing this....I will send this to many of my friends.
People such as John Kerry and Nancy Pelosi flaunt their Catholicism, yet aid and abet infanticide....

I would be willing to bet that Kerry, and his rotten Party, lost the election over this issue...

If Hillary runs for president will she release her medical records? Can't wait to find out how many abortions she has had.

Here's my pondering.

Those "scientific" minds who believe we are related to apes, might notice that it is quite natural for female alpha apes to kill the offspring of competing females.

Ergo: The leaders of NOW and NARAL are obviously, the alpha females encouraging weaker females to destroy their offspring in the womb.

The natural state of impending motherhood is to protect one's own unborn and encouraging pregnant women to embrace infanticide is the ultimate apish behavior.

That also fits in with fellow travelers in the homosexual rights and the zero population growth/environmentalist movements.

Is the hand of God at the helm of this strange, unnatural human evolution?

Or is He resting?

I don't know. Could it be that God is fed up with us and is just letting us destroy ourselves? At any rate, our culture may be on its way to extinction -- it more or less officially hates children and at the same time it encourages adults to act like children. A society like that is bound to die out.
