his quote:: We describe what happened yesterday as a "partial victory." Never before has an anti-war movement been able to achieve a guaranteed spot of that size along the inaugural parade route, but it is a partial victory only because the National Park Service, representing the Interior Department, and working with a highly politicized Secret Service, used every imaginable method to block the public, including the anti-war public, from the other parts of Pennsylvania Ave. and sought to privatize in effect the rest of the inaugural parade route so that the Bush-Cheney Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC), which is a private fundraising entity, the exclusive use of Pennsylvania Ave. for Republican Party donors.

Every Freeper who made it to Pennsylvania Ave knows and saw personnaly and even photographed themselves the huge number of anti-war leftists who were there to disrupt the inauguration.

Wait...here's my crying towel. You can use it, Brian.

Is he (she) referring to the heightened security at the checkpoints which caused many of us to wait 2 hours to get in?
By that "logic" they (security) were suppressing pro-Bush support, as most of us huddled into that area on 7th and D were real Americans, not Moonbats.

Just one problem Brian ... ABC/Peter Jenings showed the whole world non-stop footage of your crowd at the Inaugural
BTW ...I have a question?
Why is it the Christian guys from the Philly Gay Parade are facing up to 47 years in jail for blocking the streets .. but these anti-american crowd get red carpet treatment from the press?

In connection with this, a query:
Yesterday on Sean Hannitty's show somebody mentioned that there were disruptive protestors near the podium and that they got there because they were given tickets by DumocRAT congresscritters.
Anybody know anything about this? I LOVE the idea of being able to nail DumocRATs for aiding and abetting the disruption of a national ceremony.

Gee, my questions which I submitted to him yesterday via the WAPO aren't printed? Hmm, I wonder why?
It wouldn't have been because I asked him to fess up on being a commie front group and getting funding from the Communist Party could it?!?

We had the WP guy with us almost all afternoon, and I searched their newspaper yesterday and their internet site today...we weren't mentioned more than a sentence.
This guy was with us for hours, and not one mention.

Apparently some guy got up and started booing during the Inaugural Address. The Capitol Police apparently grabbed him, and hauled him away, to the cheers of the crowd around him.

I was able to walk up and down the street for a large portion of the parade route. I saw many, many "Protestors."
They had just as much access as anyone else! Too much in my humble opinion as they came to intentionally disrupt things and spoil the event for the regular Joes and Janes.
