Construction along Pennsylvania Avenue narrowed sidewalks, making movement difficult. "They're just making it more of a hassle than it has to be," said Natalie Estevez, 26, from Ithaca, N.Y., who was searching for a bathroom. She wore a sign that said, "Bring the troops home now." Poor Natalie, immortalized for posterity as "the leftist searching for the bathroom."

I was wondering about the cost of securing the events from protestors and the distraction that they caused from "real security problems."
All said, I would have been very hesitant to permit protests in D.C. yesterday. On a day like that, security resources needed to be focused on the big stuff - not snowballs.

If I would have done the same at a Clinton inauguration, I'd have been tied to a chair in a room full of incense, being read to by lesbian poets and listening to New Age crap slithering out of the Bose.
This is much more merciful and a whole lot faster.

Within seconds, two large men jumped him, pushed him down to the ground and punched him in the face repeatedlyThen the 2 large men, most likely mere bystanders who took appropriate action on the man, stepped back into their spaces to continue enjoying the parade. This story makes my day.

So why did you add 'a demonstrator made a snowball' to the article? It sounds like you're saying that all the poor kid did was to make a snowball and others and the police over reacted. In other words, it's something a lefty would add to the article, not a conservative. I certainly wouldn't add that to the article. In fact, if I were the moderator I would have removed it or deleted the post.

Wanna bet those 'two large men' were undercover cops in the crowd? One has to ask the question why weren't they detained. I did not ascertain from the article that the 2 large men were in uniform.
Anyway, kudos to those that figure some things in this world need to be given respect, regardless of how one may 'feel'.

Liberals are guilt ridden cowards... nothing more, nothing less. Talk big when they know they are safe, and run and hide when they have to fight.
