The Following is a Death Threat received by on the U.S.' foremost scholars and Critics of Islam

The email revealing both the threat to Craig Winn and his reponse, went out yesterday. Please take time to read through the thread and then forward this URL to every person you know.

We're appealing to you to help us expose the death threat which we received today. While we have received scores of death threats from Muslims over the past year, this one is significantly more credible than the others.

Here is a copy of Craig's reply followed by the threat itself:

My Fellow Americans,

The spirit behind a religion can be determined by the the spirit's scriptures and by the behavior of those who are possessed by it. Such is the curse of Islam. Confronted with the most comprehensive and best documented contextual and chronological presentation of Muhammad's Own Words as they are recorded in the Qur'an and Hadith, "Jealous Muslims" respond by revealing the nature and the agenda of the dark and demonic spirit who inspires them. They are compelled to suppress truth at all costs and to murder all those who do not surrender and submit. Until we as a nation come to understand that Allah isn't God, that Muhammad was a sexual pervert and genocidal mass murderer, that the Qur'an is a declaration of war on all mankind, and that the Islamic Hadith is a terrorist manifesto, Jealous Muslims will do more than threaten me, blow themselves up killing their own, and crash planes into our buildings. They will destroy America by detonating nuclear bombs in our largest cities.

Let this letter serve as a wake up call. Your life and that of your children, the very survival or your nation, depends upon whether you are willing to read Prophet of Doom and respond rationally based upon the evidence or ignore it. I have willingly risked my life for you to know the truth. But as with eternal salvation, the choice of whether to benefit from this temporal gift is yours alone. Choose wisely--everything you hold dear is riding on it.

While Craig is willing to sacrifice his life to save Muslims and non-Muslims from Islam, he would like his death, if that is the result, to draw people to the truth. So please consider forwarding this exchange to the emails of the national media, pastors, and politicians. If they succeed in killing Craig it's important that the media is warned in advance. Only then will his death direct people to the POD site and to the truth it reveals. Moreover, the better the threat and reply are disseminated, the less likely this group is to execute their threat as it becomes counter productive.

Well. I dunno. I've had two occasions where I called authorities about threats.

One was a bomb threat against a pro-Bush demonstration posted on a GWB message board by some Democrat idiots back in 2000. I was instructed to report it to the Sheriff, and they took it REAL SERIOUS. Weren't any prosecutions that I'm aware of, but the law enforcement presence at that demonstration was huge. Ran all the RATS right off!

The second was a weird posting here on FR right after 9/11 that discussed socialist and anti-American activities in the Balkans and gave names and dates for coordinating a meeting. Not a thread. A single post to an unrelated subject that received two similarly odd replys about a meeting in the Balkans. I gave a full report to the FBI. Was always glad I did.
