Poll: Gov. Gregoire Illegitimate

A poll of Washington residents released the day Democrat Christine Gregoire was certified as the winner in the state's hotly contested governor's race shows that a majority of voters believes she was not legitimately elected.

The GOP polling firm Strategic Vision, LLC found that 54 percent of voters "do not believe" that the final hand recount that certified Gregoire as the victor "reflects the actual election results," reports Friday's Washington Times.

Only 37 percent believed the recount was accurate, and that Gregoire truly defeated her GOP opponent, Dino Rossi. Nine percent were undecided.

Fifty-three percent of Washington voters say the results in heavily Democratic King County, where hundreds of votes mysteriously appeared on the eve of a final recount, were not legitimate.

The survey is particularly significant since at least some of the respondents who called the certified recount illegitimate were Democrats who actually cast their votes for Gregoire.

Strategic Vision, LLC surveyed 800 registered voters on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. The margin of error was 3 percent.

The 'Rats can't even cheat discretely enough to satisfy their own base anymore.

This should be in all the left-wing rags out there, above the fold and we should have people calling in to CSPAN and Larry King and every other lib haven...But this will never happen and this poll will not see the light of day except on FR...

New Slogan:

Democrat Christine Gregoire for Governor
We'll find a way to win!

or

Democrat Christine Gregoire for Governor
We'll count the votes until we win!

They don't even try now.

You should be happy you moved to Nevada. Hopefully the whole left coast will secede from the Union.

I know of several Democrats, liberal ones at that, who voted for Rossi because they thought Christine (not the car) was incompetent.

But now that the Democrats have both houses of the legislature and the Governors slot they got some real problems to solve and will take full blame for the result.

The Dems adding to this result are not alike.

You have the Libs in King County that faint over Gorbachav.

Then you have the blue collar Dems. Think Scoop Jackson & Zell Miller's. They are the ones the Dems are thumbing their noses at. Lifers that vote Dem at birth. They are gambling this group isn't going to bolt over this fraud. I keep stating if the Reps play it right this could fracture the Dem base in the long term because these people are at the heart of making WA a permanent swing state. If they realize their party doesn't represent them anymore, Dems are in trouble. Stealing an election isn't going over well.

Of course it's illegitimate. Gregoire stopped recounting when she won.

These elitist 'Rats should take a little trip to the deep south. States like South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi had voted for the Democrats consistently for over a century, the 'Rats took them for granted, and now over the last 30 years they have become the some of the most solidly GOP voters ever.

"You should be happy you moved to Nevada. Hopefully the whole left coast will secede from the Union."

I'm not that happy. The wife and I spent about four hours digging the 18" of snow off the drive while helping the neighbors clean off theirs. It's time to get a snow blower. I've made the wife a believer.

And if they secede, that means no federal funding. Oh, darn it. They'll really feel Blue then.

Please go down now and get a full tube of KY Jelly. You'll need the appropriate lubrication before all of this is over. I'm glad I left in October.

54 to 37 is probably what the "non-cheating" vote count should be.

The real clue came the day before the third recount results came in when she called upon Rossi to "accept the result of the third count" (emphasis mine). That same day Paul Berendt claimed he had inside information that Gregoire would end up with an eight-vote lead. She ended up with a ten-vote lead.

That was before the 723 illegitimate (meaning, previously rejected) ballots were recanvassed and thrown into the mix.

This is exactly what happened in FL. Two machine recounts, then a hand count that tried to "cherrypick" Democratic counties. (Always easier with Dems because they are all located in one place). In our case the Supremes stopped it.

Now they have gotten away with it in WA. Well, they should take a lesson from FL - since 2000, FL has gone solidly Republican. My county threw out every last Democrat, when before it was considered a Democrat leaning county. Voters remember this kind of thing.

The Democrats have paid in FL for 2 solid election cycles now for Gore's little escapade.
