Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has been hammered (by a trivet of a camera) between the right ear and the neck, suffering a small haematoma. The aggressor, Roberto Del Bosco, who lives in Mantova (a "leftist" small town in Italy), is now under interrogation by the Digos (Police). The aggression has been stigmatized from exponents of the Cdl (Coalition of center-right) and some member of the Left. This is a result of a campaign of hatred against the premier, promnoted by the left. DEVELOPING...

Amazing that this mope was able to get close enough to Berlusconi to injure him with a hand-held impact weapon.
I don't think the Secret Service would allow somebody that kind of shot at Bush, but I hope they will take this attack to heart and redouble their vigilance.
