In Colorado and Indiana, a national conservative group publicizes student allegations of left-wing bias by professors. Faculty get hate mail and are pictured in mock "wanted" posters; at least one college says a teacher received a death threat.
And at Columbia University in New York, a documentary film alleging that teachers intimidate students who support Israel draws the attention of administrators.
About Time.
My faith in the younger generation is increasing every day. They are far more conservative than the pot-head professors (60s throwbacks no doubt). This bodes well for the future of these campuses.
Its in High Schools too. Parents need to watch for indoctrination and stop it at its source.
The leftist have control of the grade schools. These kids know more about Malcolm X than George Washington. No wonder the ghettos are filled with ignorant homies.
Lets hear it for the students!!!!!
I run a homeless ministry in the inner city. I know what you mean, but there are lights in the darkness. We have a catholic school that does a fine job of educating the kids.
(I am not sure how long our ministry will survive. It is very dangerous right now. We have drug dealers invading our apartments and using them like the terrorists in Fallujah.)
Public education is largely in the hands of liberals. Even the School Board associations generally follow the line of the NEA.
No, they teach about Martin Luther King. And Malcolm X wasn't that bad of a guy, he was all about personal responsibility.
"I firmly believe that if Christ were alive today, he would be a communist!" -- my literary criticism teacher.
That was the moment of ephiphany when I realized I must change my major from English to something else, and, more importantly, get out of academia as quickly as possible while I was still sane and potentially employable.
In the biographies I have read, Malcolm X made too smooth and too short a transition from a small-time ghetto hustler to a silver-tongued, self-righteous demagogue for me to take him all that seriously as a civil rights spokesman for African-Americans. My impressions are that he was probably more interested fame and recognition than the empowerment and personal responsibility of the black community. On the other hand, I do believe that he started to take steps in the right direction in the last few years of his life, when he moved beyond Moorish Science / NOI indoctrination and sought the authentic Islam in the Middle East. It's really too bad that history commemorates his life for his political agitations, when his Hadj, which opens his eyes as to how Islam is really practiced, is a much more meaningful and personal episode of his life. Had he survived his assassination and made it to the 21st century, I'm sure he would have proved a much greater spiritual inspiration to the country and also would be able to provide a fascinating take on the current geopolitical situation.

Oh so true and they are also indoctrinated on the acceptance of Homosexuality. This is the BIGGY for the Socialist! This helps them to undermine the Laws of God and God himself. The Socialist and Homosexuals have worked hand in hand to bring down the any reference to GOD! Religion, God and Christianity will never accept Homosexuality and same sex marriage.
The children are not taught American History, Why!? It should be mandatory. The Curriculum should be approved by a Local panel of Parents! They are always quick to point to the parents and lay blame, but they undermine the authority of the parents. Time for the Parents to take back their schools.
Amen
This shall be my rallying cry at my next Moot Court competition. :)
I said almost balanced. The story does quote the conservatives a length. A marked improvement from the AP.
The proof for that assertion that I've always heard is monastic orders which are certainly communistic. Can anyone clarify?
They grew up in the 60s and went on to take over the universities.
