"Why is it a dumb thread. The French suck."
Maybe this will give you a clue why this guy slammed the thread.
He wrote a few months back;
"My favorite city in the world is Paris"
"I am a road cyclist like (John Kerry)"
"I don't go to church."
It is working..the wine growers were just protesting in the streets yesterday because of decrease exports. Kepp it up!!!!!
Patel is an Indian name from India.
Patels tend to be Hindu.
Kepp = Keep
fumble fingers
Of course not. Went right passed me. Didn't suspect a thing. Smooth as silk.
Thanks Solutions. I knew about Target's Salvation Army exclusion rule on Target's premises. The SA and our church are the ONLY two charities to which we contribute. United Way and the rest are a bunch of crooks in my mind. IMOHO.
My post was based on my own experience of knowing uncounted Patels who were engineers. As it turns out, South Indians really don't have "family" names as is customary in the West, so they choose their "last" names from their caste, region of origin, or some other source. Patel is a commonly-chosen last name based upon caste, and actually means hotelier or innkeeper. Ghandi is another "caste" name, meaning "grocer". The whole subject is well-explained at http://www.geocities.com/lakshman/Desh/nms.html
That's great. Glad to hear it. Not a fan of the French nor of boycotts.
Add Johnny Depp to the list.

Yes, that's right, the reason he moved to France can be summed up in two words...
Ira Einhorn
Agreed - United Way is to be avoided.
I love this headline:
"French in Wine Whine"

Tom Bodett used to be a very funny columnist/commentator in Anchorage, Alaska. We all applauded his apparent step up to the 'big time' when he was invited to "leave the light on" for us...
The Jerry Springer Show is owned by a French Company

Thanks for the info. I must have missed the "COMMON KNOWLEDGE" meetings for the last few decades.
The lighter on my desk has BIC stamped on one side and
Made in USA on the other.
I would think the French serving our soldiers their meals is a great job for them.
Dom Perignon
Not Dom! Say it isn't so..
