I hope so!
I'd love to see W win Maryland, but it ain't gonna happen. PA or Michigan, maybe, but not Maryland.
Voting was extremely heavy in Bethesda. I waited 1 hour 15 minutes to vote.
Hope springs eternal.
OK, I give up. For those of us who don't live in Western MD, is it a Republican area or democratic.
Very heavy in Cockeysville this AM. I gather from the buzz I heard while waiting in line that most of the people there will vote for sKerry and Senator-For-Life Milkulski. Maryland is a lost cause, but the rest of the country is anyone's guess.

I'll be happy to see a really tight final score rather than the usual "we ain't botherin' because we know we'll lose" attitude.
The Republicans in this rat-infested paradise need to regain both their hope and confidence and every close election helps to build them up a little more.
Overwhelmingly conservative with a pocket of liberals in the area surrounding Frostburg College.
Yes, very Republican area. It is Roscoe Bartlett country. The challenger against senator barb is from Cumberland (western most city of significance in Maryland).
Very republican, I live in Frederick County MD and it's republican. My Wife voted this moring and she said the lines were very long, she said 10 times what they were in 2000. We might see Maryland swing in Dubya's direction
MD may be a lost cause but don't forget they have a Republican Governor!!
Well then that is outstanding news!! Thanks for passing it on.
Western Maryland is Republican. There are alot of former Democrats and Democrats that vote Republican. Actually about 20 of 23 counties in Maryland are Republican. It is the I-95 counties between DC and Baltimore that screw this state over time and time again. Also the vote fraud in Baltimore does not help.
LOL!
[and the dead voters don't care to stay above ground any longer than absolutely necessary]
Yes, it was. I stood in line for approx 35 mins
in Bethesda where in the past it has usually been
about 10. There was a long line and the line largely
maintained its length thru new arrivals when
I left.
Heard on the radio at 9:00am that some polling
places in Alexandria, VA had RUN OUT of ballots!
Vote officials were requiring pic ID and
one other ID form w/ an address. This is
an extremely heavy demoncrap area and doubtful
will help Bush. Also think that Chuck Floyd
is going to looze wo/ much doubt.
Looks like the vote is definitely being rocked!

Frederick -town- is a nauseating kerry mess.
We went to Best Buy and came back through town instead of I-70 on the way home and the omnipresent kerry signs literally turned my stomach.
Thank God the rest of the state ain't Cacasville.
That is one reason I left.
I voted in Lutherville-Timonium (in Baltimore County). I don't think the lines were long. They were about the same as they were in 2000. I am pretty sure this precinct will go for W, but not by much.
You're welcome.
I pray for my state to finally redeem itself.
Tragically, an awful lot of Dem DC workers come home at night to their MD 'burb mansions.
A lot of them are migrating up this way and we're fighting for preservation of our rural, honest "culture", if you will.
