Placer County Republican HQ's Burglarzied (California)
KTKZ-AM California ^ | 10-31-04

Posted on 10/31/2004 8:50:09 PM PST by My Favorite Headache

Title Description Placer County Republican HQ's Burglarzied personally visited the Placer Country Republican Headquarters today after hearing about a break-in overnight, Saturday into Sunday morning, at the location.

Placer County is the most Republican (registered voters) County in California, more than Orange County. An event like this has Republican workers shocked that it can happen in a community like Roseville, California and Placer County.

The vandals had to break into two separate doors to access the inner office of the complex. Then the vandals broke into the 'interior office complex door' by using a crow bar to pry open the door - doing damage to the lock.

The "political thieves" had to choose between a dozen other doors inside of the complex's hallway. They obviously wanted to break into the Republican Headquarters. Leading many to believe this was all about the data (political speech attack) and not the merchandise.

The thieves stole 12 cell phones, a couple of laptop computers and the main computer containing a hard drive holding over 90,000 addresses, phone numbers and Republican data for tonight and tomorrow's GOTV drive.

The message of the vandals was more in what they DID NOT take, leaving behind a new 36-inch TV, DVD player and an envelope of 'literal cash' collect the previous day during a canvassing of the cities of Roseville and Rocklin. The cash was in the open and ignored.

Speaking with GOP County Chairwoman Cindi Sherrod, "This will surely put us back of few hours in our effort to communicate and contact this county for President Bush. We'll just forget about sleeping for tonight and do what we can to get the job done within 72 hours."

This is pathetic and typical of Democrats. Their desperation has reached all new levels this election season.

Pretty close to home! Thanks for posting this.

According to the Field Poll of CA Kerry ahead by only 7 points. However... In all the non-coastal areas of CA BUSH IS AHEAD BY 2O POINTS!!! (as reported last night on KCBS in San Francisco)

Lost Angeles county and San Franpsycho county are the only thing putting Kerry ahead!!!

The President is probably ahead in Placer County by 50 points!!!

I'm an ex-pat in Japan registered in Placer County. I already voted. I don't think such an organized and strictly politically motivated burglery was put together by couple young punks. Let's watch this story because I have a feeling its going to get a lot deeper and go a lot higher up the chain. Individuals have no need for any of the data was stolen. I sense something very odd here.

Consider yourself fortunate! They usually "key" the side of your car from headlight to tailight clear down to the raw sheetmetal!!!

THEY HATE!!! (and they do hate crimes too)

Call out the posse and head em off at the pass. Shoot their horse and hang them from the old Oak Tree. That's how they used to deal with thieves in Placer County...

No "silent" alarm? No surveillance equipment? No copies of critical lists, documents on disk? This is very strange.

Exactly what do you mean strange? My son's lap top got stolen in that burglary. No hanky panky just low on funds, tired volunteers(working today to recover), and donated office space. Innocent people hurt by the dims.

A pattern of political sabatoge by Democrate operatives? Notice that they are purposefully aiming at taking out GOTV auto-dialer computer systems and databases of Republican voters.

Breakins all over the country, the perps always taking data...creating an enemies list??

This is typical of the mindless thuglodyte personality that typifies the Demonicrap party of today. Immature a-holes that throw tantrums when they don't get their way.

A lot of these people are promising to leave the US when Bush wins. I say we hold them to it.

If that's happened to me, I've missed it. But my son and I have fun giving the Thumbs Up to other vehicles with (R) tc stickers. One lady with the BC04 and the W04 oval gave us a big smile and an enthusiastic thumbs up back, while driving on 680. Of course, my son did the thumb work - I just enjoyed it as I safely could! We've gotta stick together!

I got flipped off today because of my Bush bumper sticker.

That has happened to me quite a few times, living in the SF peninsula area on weekdays. I'm just shocked that my evil SUV (Explorer) with all the bumper stickers hasn't been keyed or otherwise vandalized in the SF Bay Area. That has happened to several friends of mine there. The loving tolerance of liberals is an amazing, and often violent, thing.
