A man named Mike dressed in camouflage with a John Kerry mask to protest an appearance of Teresa Heinz Kerry yesterday in Brookhaven, PA. He was required to remove the stick from his sign but despite loud protests from the less that 100 Kerry supporters he was allowed to stay at the appearance.
The protest started even before the Kerry entourage arrived on the scene. Then when the Kerry vehicles arrived you could see Teresa Heinz Kerry shaking her head as she passed the protestor, Mike.
Where Mrs. Kerry went the protestor went. Reminding her with signs that said John Kerry will marry for money and the John Kerry is U.N. Reliable.
This man was stating what many of us feel and I am thankful that he took the stand to be heard. Thanks, Mike.

He was required to remove the stick from his sign...But the Kerry-lover in front of him was allowed to keep the wire that supports her sign?
Can you imagine the damage to be done by such a wire?
It is stiff enough to penetrate the body at any spot, enough to cause death.
Not to mention putting an eye out.
Good for me, but not for thee.
The motto of the stinking dimlib idiots.

The secret service were obviously only looking at us... They had the police officer remove the stick from the sign
and the officer politely asked Mike if he wanted his sign back. Except for a couple of yahoos nobody hassled us but there glares were relentless. One lady screamed at Mike, "YOU DON'T SCARE US!!" The secret service then ABRUPTLY told the yahoo to "STEP BACK M'AM!!" Another lady told us we should be ashamed of disrespecting the love in that family....I asked her "What about the love and respect for our country?" She walked away quickly in a huff.
There were a couple of very nice Moms with their small children who were very supportive of us, as well as a couple senior citizens who respected our right to Freedom of Expression.
While carrying our signs out by the highway, the school children and teachers walking by along with general traffic driving by were chanting on both sides of the coin...of course there were alot more sneers than cheers, but still a great day out!
HEY MIKE, GREAT IDEA BUDDY!!!
Attached is a link to the article in the local paper stating there were 100's of people there (really only approx. 75 including police, secret service, and Kerry's servants). The paper also stated there were many "Republicans for Kerry" there. Where were there signs outside?
