The Red Sox blew it. They had the bases loaded with one out and they could not push a single run across the plate. That was the most pathetic display of baseball I have seen since the ball went through Bill Buckner's legs in 1986.

Well, maybe next year...

Nice defensive start though, 2 down already at the bottom on the first.

Are you aware that the vast majority of Red Sox fans are DemocRATs?

Pedro puts a runner on first with a base on balls...and so it starts. The inevitable collapse of a once mighty team. The shattering of hopes from Bangor, Maine to Hartford, Connecticut.

Are you aware that the vast majority of Yankee fans installed Hillary Rodham Clinton as their senator?

Don't rub it in, it's bad enough living with the RATs in Boston.

The Republicans up here are the few, the proud, the brave.

Hey, I'm not only a Republican living in Boston -- I'm a Yankees fan. Not getting invited to many parties here in the Back Bay.

The Red Sox are doing enough choking for the two of us. I really wish they would turn it up a notch. They are looking dead out there tonight.
