The Red Sox blew it. They had the bases loaded with one out and they could not push a single run across the plate. That was the most pathetic display of baseball I have seen since the ball went through Bill Buckner's legs in 1986.

Well, maybe next year...

Well, I'm on my third cup of Dunkin' Donuts High Test this morning, but happy I stayed up for the game. Now it's back to Fenway for the Finale (we all hope). I'm still conflicted over the Twins vs. Yanks, though. The Sox have played the Twins tough all year, but the thought of extracting revenge for last year in the Bronx is hard to resist.
