The democrat activists who are trying to lie, spin, and make accusations on the Sign Ripping incident in WV, can't even get the story straight on which son in the family picture is supposed to be the "staged Union Thug."
The Democrat Activist on Truthout claims that it is the Son in the Gray Shirt:
Take a long look at the young man in the gray shirt, and then take another look at the alleged union guy who tore up the sign. Am I the only one who sees a striking resemblance?
Democraticunderground claims that it is the Son in the Blue Shirt:
This activist blog doesn't know which son to accuse:
What are the odds, this allegedly angry sign-ripper in the union shirt, holding the fragments of a ripped Bush sign is either the guy in the grey sweater or the blue shirt?
I think they should at least try to get on the same sheet of music.
Depending on what Blog you goto you will get a different story. So guess what that means, it means that anyone who is claiming the photograph proves that the "Union Thug" was a Son, is engaging in a deliberate falsehood, because even the activist websites don't know what son to try to blame.
Your DU link doesn't work.
The last two links in your post are FUBAR'd. Please fix them.
Here is the DU Link (Notice they claim Blue Shirt)
Here is the Link to the Other Activist Website. (Notice they don't know what Son to try to blame.)
Seems that this could easily be resolved by either identifying the union thug in the photo or checking into the whereabouts of the Parlock's older son during the time frame of this rally. Perhaps the son has an airtight alibi proving he was nowhere near the Kerry Rally.
I followed this closely and it is my understanding that the thug was outed in the original thread to the extent of a phone number which was deleted by the moderator, somewhere around messages 800-900.
"IUPAT members quickly became known as the 'Army of Black and Gold' as we attended political events throughout North America in our signature black and gold t-shirts." www.ibpat.org
Thanks. Interesting that they can't seem to settle on which son did what.
I know, the latest RAT spin on that one is that "All big organizations make apologies just to cover themselves."
It is insane.
That's simple.
Just find out which son was standing on a grassy knoll.
It really doesn't matter what the Taxocrat Sheeple believe, when the train runs over them in November it will be a hoot!
People really believe that a guy would spend time and energy teaching a 3-year old kid to cry on cue in the off chance that a photographer would pick up on it? Assuming it's even possible to teach a 3-year old to cry (convincingly) on a cue from a family member, this would have to be the least efficient type of campaign work ever conceived. This Kerry campaign is grasping at straws in so many areas lately, it just goes beyond disgrace.
"Phil Parlock didn't expect to need all 12 of the Bush-Cheney signs he and his son Louis smuggled in their socks and pockets into the rally."
The above sentence was attributed to 10/20/00. Doesn't it sound just like a sentence in the recent article written about Mr. Parlock's three year old daughter?
Interesting....
Sorry, that was 10/28/00.
Isn't this the guy who tried to get a job with the Kerry campaign but ended up as Dennis the Menace's spokesperson?
Geez.
Bad Manners are Bad Manners. An apology and then shutting up is the best way to handle this rather than attempting to place the blame where it isn't.
I wish someone that lived close to this area would enlighten us on the political dynamics there. We know there are some(certainly not the majority) union members that are willing to get quite aggresive at political events and I am not sure you can blame this man for that. He has gone to several events and they don't all involve incidents.
I would not personally go it alone to one of these events, but I just don't feel a Bush Cheney sign is enough to set someone off like that. I agree with another poster that you can't count on a reporter taking a picture at the exact moment something happens.
The guy committed strong arm robbery.
He put the child in fear and took her property by force.
In the state of Florida, that is robbery.
If he used a weapon it is armed robbery.
