Left going Nuts (Personal Observation) New /Old Allegation

Posted on 09/12/2004 11:59:27 AM PDT by Defendingliberty

Today the left is going Nuts. They are dredging up a charge that President Bush misstated his military on campaign literature 21 years ago. This charge has been answered so I won't go into it....More.... Yesterday I listened for two hours to America's Number 1 Democrat talk show and do you know what? Not one mention of Kerry just 2 hours of Bush Bashing. They have nothing to talk about...

The Left is nuts and always has been. They just have trouble hiding it sometimes.

True. While they have power they can hide their insanity because of a sympathetic media. But out of power, not even the best efforts of the MSM can hide their lunacy.

The looney left would feel right at home in The Great Insane Leader's charnel house, eating grass and bark.

The DUmmies are claiming that W is lying about his service in the Air Force.

Air National Guard History

Here is an excerpt from the above website that refutes the Lefts claim:

The Air National Guard as we know it today -- a separate reserve component of the United States Air Force-- was a product of the politics of postwar planning and interservice rivalry during World War II. The men who planned and maneuvered for an independent postwar Air Force during World War II didn't place much faith in the reserves, especially the state-dominated National Guard. On the contrary, they were determined to build the largest and most modern standing force possible. They assumed that future wars would be short and highly destructive affairs decided by the ability of one side to deliver massive aerial firepower on an enemy's heartland. They were convinced that reserves could not operate complex modern weapons without extensive post-mobilization training. Reserves did not play a prominent role in their vision of the postwar Air Force. For its part, the Guard had a well-established stake in aviation. It had formed 29 observation squadrons between World War I and World War II.

So the Air National Guard is a separate component of the USAF, which implies that W served in the AF.

We should do all we can to encourage these inclinations.

Look at the obvious irrationality taking place at CBS. Only diehard, Bush-hating democrat partisans can fail to see it. The moderates, the undecideds will recognize it and either vote for Bush or at least not vote for kerry.

At this point, the TANG "documents" are clearly forgeries. But instead of cutting its losses, CBS is digging its grave even deeper.

We should let them continue in the same direction they are going.

Yep, just read their very huge emblazoned headline (at a website that shall go unnamed so as to not to rile the locals here--clue: initials DU) all about the "web exclusive" they have in a Bush campaign brochure that says he was in the AF and the Guard back in the 70s...

This has been explained ad nauseum however in previous days as technically accurate due to Bush's 600 days of AF training while in the Guard.

Now if we start an audit of every elected officials campaign lit (Dem and GOP)--watch out! Campaign workers of every stripe are notorious in pumping the particulars on flysheets and the like...and the candidate sometimes doesn't even have wind of it.

We listened to 1/2 hr last night at 11:00 pm MDT of some idiot and I am being generous with the term idiot on the SmogStalin channel. He used Our savior's full name 7 times his first name 5 times and many other colorful words. He described President Bush as a rat Bast*** deserter and all Republicans as cowards and sheep.

No mention of Kerry but he did mention Edwards when he went into a tirade about the remarks of the Vice President, who he accused of only wanting to win the election so he could steal more money from the poor for his friends

He then went on to say tat if the election is close The republicans plann on launching a terrorist attack in Califorinia to scare people into voting for them. He evew wewt so far as to say what kind of attack it would be.

Well, Dung-heap Tom Harkin probably shudders a little at this idea.

Here's something even better than what you've posted.

From the official US Air National Guard website...

Although the Air National Guard was not established as a separate component of the U.S. Air Force until 1947, National Guard aviators have played significant roles in all of America's wars and most of it's major contingencies since the beginning of the 20th Century. Visit the pages on this history site to explore the heritage of American flight...as seen through the deeds of minutemen.
I draw your attention to the actual URL of the link I provided above:

    http://www.ang.af.mil/history/

Says it all, I think.

"Now if we start an audit of every elected officials campaign lit..."

Why not start with democrat Tom Harkin? He claimed he was a Vietnam vet who flew missions there until he was exposed as having only served in Japan and never in, on, near or above Vietnam.

Very suspicious.

This caller wouldn't have been one of Kerry's foreign friends, would he? Perhaps a middle eastern gentleman (and I use that term very loosely) with a large stake in seeing his enemy GWB destroyed (along with many hundreds of men, women & children)?

I hope Homeland Security was tunned in.

They're desperate.
The truth has begun to dawn on the rank and file media-left conformists as well as the professionals: Dan Rather has bet the ranch on this flimsy fraud. It is a critical turning point, with a direct challenge to media authority and a wartime election hanging in the balance.
If Rather goes down, he takes the whole thing with him; not just Kerry but the Democratic Party, the LLL, the academic left, the entire dominant media culture of the last 40 years.
It is the inverse of Walter Cronkite's crucial role in turning the tide of the Vietnam war in favor of the Communists after the Tet offensive.
This is one of the weak points of an authoritarian culture, a strong enough authority (which Rather certainly is) can destroy the whole thing with a single miscalculation.

This is a revolution; new media=power to the people.

Absolutely and right on!

For the past 10 years or so, the right has slowly become the radicals. We are the ones speaking truth to the powerful Establishment. THEY are the ones perpetrating a fascist control over the free people of the United States of America.

The left knows it. They are fighting for their lives. We need to keep up the pressure, not back down and win this battle just as our military won the battles of Afghanistan and Iraq.

Over the past couple of weeks, the pace of this battle has accelerated tremendously. Our would-be-overlords are making a lot of mistakes. They have been in power too long and they have become soft and complacent. Can you think of one other business that would go to war with their customers? This is so outrageous, it is something you could never make up.

I expect help is on the way from the vets, both the VN Vets and the SBVFT, I expect it to be the equivalent of a strafing run over the Kerry campaign. If the media and the DNC are collateral damage, well: things happen.

Keep on keeping on, FReepers. We have the bloggers on our side and we have the military, FNC, the right & center-right print media and talk radio, as well. Our candidate has the bully pulpit. I was very encouraged that 3 Pentagon experts called the so-called Bush documents forgeries today.

One of the most radicalizing tactics used in the 60s was people standing in public places, like University hallways, silently holding large (4'x5') color blow ups of napalmed humans. They were everywhere. For those who are in places where daily FReeps are held, once the SBVFT begin on Kerry's treason, similar blowups of the killing fields photos, the piles of corpses, the mounds of bones might also be effective. If you know how to make these large photo posters and especially if you have friends who are Vietnamese, Cambodian, Hmong who are American citizens, I bet they can help you find the most telling photos. Back in the day, there was no copy on the photos. If you had to know what they were, you had to ask the person holding them. It gave the protesters a chance to speak directly to people. Just an idea.
