Ahhh, the first signs of a resounding victory and panic in the Kerry camp. But I'm really curious as to what stunt Max Cleland will pull next???

It is a happy thing to watch the Kerry campaign implode. It's almost as spectacular as Howard Dean's meltdown. : )

That poll found Kerry has solidified support among key groups, like blacks and union voters. So if the polling numbers are about the same or slightly worse for Kerry, that means he's lost support among other key groups.
Hmmmm, wonder what groups they could be?

Sounds like Bush lost ground in the Gallup poll, but is gaining in all other polls.

notice the dates on the Battleground Poll. Aug 17 to 18. Its over a week old, I bet the numbers are even better for Bush now.

That's the first I've seen of the Gallup numbers. 48 Bush 46 Kerry is actually an improvement for Kerry of 4 points.

I am particularly enjoying this:
KERRY CHALLENGES BUSH TO WEEKLY DEBATES: In Anoka, MN, John Kerry challenged President Bush to weekly debates on the issues.
BUSH CAMP REAX: "There will be a time for debates after
the convention, and during the next few weeks, John Kerry
should take the time to finish the debates with himself.
This election presents a clear choice to the American
people between a President who is moving America forward
and a Senator who has taken every side of almost every
issue and has the most out of the mainstream record in the
U.S. Senate," said BC'04 spokesman Steve Schmidt.

The Kerry campaign has rebutted the claims with Navy documents and other veteran accounts...Well, he's denied them.
Rebutted? I don't think so...

Voters gave Clinton a pass on his draft-dodging and got a President who cut the military, cut the intelligence services, and pandered to the liberal socialist world elite, which brought us Osama, the '93 World Trade Center Bombing, the African embassey bombings, and the US Cole bombing.
Can we afford to give Kerry a pass on his past treasonous behavior?

Ramsey Clark to Join Panel for Saddams Defense
arabnews press release 25 August 2004
NOTE :
Ramsey Clark is pictured below with Kerry and
Vietnam phony vet Al Hubbard
Who was head of the
Vietnam Veterans Against the War movement.
NEW:

From Kerry's "The New Soldier":
Al Hubbard Sgt., 22 Troop Carrier Squadron Aug. 65-June 66
Emotions: Walking down the flight line at Saigon past stacks of aluminum cases containing American bodies and past stacks of aluminum luggage containing American currency. Seeing the tight, sad face of an Airman loading the bodies aboard a dirty Air Force Transport and the wide smiling face of a stewardess greeting the passengers aboard a clean Pan American Clipper Jet. Hearing a Vietnamese beg you to leave his country and an American colonel tells you to bomb his country. Hearing a Vietnamese invite you to live in his home, after the war and an American explain why you cant live in his block, after the war. Flying over barren, brown, safe American held terrain and over lush, green unsafe enemy terrain. Feeling happy to be leaving a country in which you do not belong and sad to be returning to a country in which you are not allowed to belong. Sacrificing a portion of your consciousness so you wont have to deal with being there and building mental blocks so you wont have to deal with having been there.
- Al Hubbard, proven fraud who never set foot in Viet Nam. The only Vietnamese he ever met was when he was collaborating with the North Vietnamese in Paris
on the American Communist Party's nickel.
John Kerry's explanation: "He (Hubbard) simply exaggarated his particular position.
But nobody knew it at the time. And those things happen."
The New Soldier, (46 pages)

and Vietnam Veterans
Against the WarPART I (pdf file)PART II (pdf file)PART III (pdf file)Kerry hopes everyone
in the USA gets this book!
NEW:
Without question,
we were held captive longer
because of the anti-war people,
the Kerrys, the Fondas and Haydens,
the names we knew over there -
they encouraged the enemy to hang on.

The timing on the Bush surge couldn't be more auspicious. .....just before the convention.....with its built-in bounce.
Johnny-One-Note Kerry foolishly bought into the deal that Bush was a ninny and that he---Kerry---was to be crowned president by the liberal media just b/c he was not Bush, that he could do or say anything. Didn't matter. He was the One.
Enter the SBV's.
Now Kerry's in a downward spiral and he can't walk away from SBV charges since Kerry made his Viet service the centerpiece of his campaign.
The Anointed One got burnt in the flames of his demands for an "Unfit" bookburning.
Even his fellow (gag) liberals musta recoiled in horror at the very thought of the Nazi-ish tactic.
Libs are figuring out with Kerry they bought a pig in a poke (snort).

John Kerry the psuedo American....who comes from every direction simultaneously...
Has no direction no moral clarity no sense of purpose....he is not leader material...never has been never will be...
Too bad the people of Mass are so lame...hard to believe they continue to vote this moral cretin into office...

Although I hear that Hanoi Jane has given literally millions to a Hanoiboi 527 (would he be THAT stupid to accept it?), she has otherwise kept a low profile. I don't think she's gonna be able to keep her skirt's clean and her name out of this much longer. I see the Swifties tying Kerry tightly to her apron strings in upcoming ads with all the negative imagery that it will convey. It might even flush her out of her silence so she makes some scathing attacks on the Swifties, thus digging Kerry in even deeper. Is there a downside? I don't see it. If I was Karl Rove, I would be sleeping better at night. Bwahahahahah!
