BROWN: he says he was there on Christmas and the record doesn't seem to support that.
ZERNIKE: No. In fact, if you look in "Tour of Duty" by Douglas Brinkley, which is his biography, or a biography of the Senator, he's somewhere else on December 25th, on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day.
Brinkley himself says there's some question Kerry may have been in Cambodia later. These vets are saying Kerry was never in Cambodia and that, if you tried to go there, there were huge signs on the part of the river saying "do not enter."

Brown takes the least troubling aspect of Kerry's lies, and makes it seem like it's the most troubling lie. Typical liberal media spin and subterfuge.
Kerry was in Cambodia. Christmas Eve, December 5, 1958. The Viet Cong were celebrating groundhog day because it was July 4, 1975. This is seared into his memory.
Anyone who watches CNN can see the cheerleading for Kerry on every show. It's sickening.

The delicate main-stream media dance of extracting Kerry from his Vietnam/Cambodia troubles continues. Here we see that Kate and Aaron have gotten Kerry "safely" away from those nasty Swifties, at least in regards to his Vietnam lies (form 180: didn't do it, didn't see me do it, can't prove I did it). Now they are confronted with the huge pile of donkey poo regarding Cambodia. (Wo)manfully, Kate strides in: "Brinkley himself says there's some question Kerry may have been in Cambodia later."
Right, Kate - like anybody with an IQ above 90 believes the swill you two are peddling. ;-)

If you cross the International Date Line going West, then Christmas is celebrated a month later -- in January, so Kerry was in Cambodia on Christmas Day, January 25, just after Nixon was sworn in and sent secret troops to Cambodia.

He sat in his 10 foot aluminum jonboat 50 miles into Cambodia, Christmas Eve November 22, 1988. He listened to the radio reports of Lindberg crossing the Atlantic earlier in the day. Then Abraham Lincoln came on and denied any Union presence in Cambodia.
Kerry felt it ironic that Lincoln would deny this since there he was drunk and disoriented in a mud shack in Haiti, lying next to a guy named Raoul.

Liberal journalists are catching on to the fact John F*ckin's a certifiable liar. Cracks are appearing here and there in the solid mainstream media line that the Swift Boat Vets are just a tool of the Bush Campaign. They should ask Kerry to begin reconciling all the different versions of his tall tales...

This is the old recycled "It's all about sex" ploy that they used to keep Clinton in office, when he was guilty of lying to a grand jury in the case of Paula Jones and it had NOTHING to do with Monica. They intentionally misled the public and were successful, so they are trying it again in the lying Kerry debacle. O'Neill is killing them because he's on EVERYWHERE, even on Rush's mighty show yesterday, and people know he's telling the truth, because unlike Kerry, he has nothing to gain from his story. (He's even donating all his royalities to the Army-Navy Benevolence Fund for the children of fallen vets...totally admirable.)
Kerry is one dumb ass,, he keeps begging Bush to protect him from those nasty SWIFT boys,, if this guy doesn't look like the little rich boy who runs home to mommy because those boys next door are being naughty to him then I don't know a bullshit artist when I hear one,,and his little gay boyfriend Edwards whining yesterday that Bush blew his chance in not condeming the SWIFT boat heroes,, these pathetic pieces of crap cannot go away fast enough,,,,,,,,, Kerry's people said we should be talking about the issues and not something that happened 30 years ago,, Bush's commercials in the last couple weeks had Kerry missing intel meetings and the other ad was about him raising taxes,, Kerrys last two ads were on the events of 30 years ago,, LMAO
I can see it now. Kerry holds a news conference admitting that his medals and purple hearts were bogus... And he's a proud gay American. Hey, it worked for Sleazy McGreevy.
