The Democratic Party's presidential front-runner, Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.), has pledged that if elected he will abandon the president's war on terror, begin a dialogue with terrorist regimes and apologize for three-and-one-half years of mistakes by the Bush administration.
In a sweeping foreign-policy address to the Council on Foreign Relations in December, Kerry called the U.S. war on terror as conceived and led by President George W. Bush "the most arrogant, inept, reckless and ideological foreign policy in modern history." Kerry's remarks were widely praised by journalists. The Associated Press headlined its report on his speech, "Kerry Vows to Repair Foreign Relations." The Knight Ridder news service noted that the new focus on foreign policy "plays to Kerry's strength." None of the major U.S. dailies found Kerry's unusually strident language at all inappropriate. "Kerry Vows to Change U.S. Foreign Policy; Senator Describes Steps He Would Take as President," the Washington Post headlined ponderously.

He is opening a second front for the terrorists.

You may have already read this article.
JF'nK: DONT APOLOGIZE FOR THE US TO ANYONE FOR ANYTHING!
You could try to apologize to the US Viet Nam Vets who
Bled when you FLED;
Died when you LIED!
Of course, if you asked him today, he would claim that it is Bush that abandoned the WOT, and instead sought political gain by invading Iraq. But, of course, he wouldn't do anything different, it would have been the "way he did it." See the nuance? Funny, neither do I. The man is an untrustworthy shirker, who changes his story with his audience, and so could be capable of anything, including cowardice and retreat. The unfolding story of his "heroism" in Vietnam should give anyone pause, and convince them that Kerry is the last person anyone would want as CNC of the US Armed Forces.
I think you mean "fight" in the Gallic sense of picking out which white flag to wave before the hostilities begin.
Seriously, what this article from Insight has (and I have no idea how accurate it is) is not a plan to fight, but to surrender. No big surprise that Kerry would like to out-Chamberlain Clinton, with a flute of champagne with Kim Jong-Il in Beijing to celebrate the glorious twin reunifications of the Koreas and of China with Taiwan; his idea of a "war" on terrorism is based on capitulation also.
Could Kerry actually be more of a potential foreign policy disaster than Clinton or Carter?
Benedict Arnold Kerry would do the same thing to America today that he did during the Vietnam War. Offer aid and comfort to the enemy. It's called treason!
IMHO, Kerry is the kind of politician who will say just about anything to get elected. Who craves the attention, who wants to be a war hero, and who needs in his own mind to be President, almost as if to pad his resume.
Bush on the other hand doesn't 'need' to be President. He wants to serve, do his turn, then be gone back to the ranch to drive his truck, go fishing...my kind of guy.
Please keep in mind that Muslims made up a whole division of Nazi SS in WWII, and aided Hitler in his final solution.
And Hitler's book is widely read by Muslims, in Arabic.
And that the Nazi's were Socialists, and that Muslims lean in that direction!
Do you know which SS division? References would be nice,
I'd like to study this a bit... thanks.
Well upchuck, I did a search and did not find anything.
And with the importance of the issue it is a must read. May not be a must read for you, but I don't try to please everyone.
If you feel it is not a must read, go to another link....
Real easy to do.
Ah, I'll answer myself: looks like two division actually: Bosnian 13th Waffen Hanjar (or Handschar) SS division, and Albanian Skanderbeg 21st Waffen SS division. Somewhat interesting.
But here maybe this will interest you.
