Read on here earlier today that Fox's Chief Operating Officer, who is closer to the news desk than Rupert Murdoch, is a big Kerry supporter.

I just wrote him at studiob@foxnews.com

I told him to look at the ad. Several of the men in the ad ARE THE VERY SAME MEN in the photo that Kerry shows when bragging that his band of brothers support him.

Smith claimed that the men claimed to have served with Kerry, but that only meant that they all served in the VN war. All one has to do is look at the ad, which shows these men right next to a close-up of their picture in that group shot with Kerry.

He said the swift boat men were LIARS that it was lies. That maybe they served in the same war but not on the same boat. I got so mad I hit Shep with my shoe from 20 yards away.

Not surprising from someone who ran over another reporter with his car. All of the Fox News reporters are showing their true liberal stripes now that the election is getting closer. Send an email to Roger Ailes and ask him what is going on with his on-air staff.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like the way Susan Estrich was talking last night, when she "sat in" for Colmes.

She sounded like a broken record, "You weren't on the same boat as Kerry."
"You weren't on the same boat."
"You weren't on the same boat."

Shep's a big pu***, like Mr always right and arrogant who kisses the mirror every chance he gets.

I saw Shep too. He was totally on the Kerry-McCain side of this. Very disappointing. He let that fat leftist blowhard spokesman get away with saying that Elliot had retracted his support of the ad. No mention of that the Boston Globe story was boguis and written by the same guy who wrote the Kerry-Edwards campaign book. I sent him an email but doubt it will do any good.

Saw it. Shep was really kissing up to Dem Hack and frequent john Bob Beckel. Maybe he was trying to get a lead on hookers.

Shep Smith and BILL O are absolute slimy hacks. The Swift Vets did serve with Kerry-- 3 of the guys in the ad were there on the day he "rescued" Rassman. The Swit Vets for Truth sh*t bigger than that little twerp Smith.

Word parsing. They were in the same outfit, on the same river, on the same missions at the same time, but since they weren't in the same BOAT, they have no basis to criticize. Even if someone on the same boat were found to criticize Kerry, they would say something like, "Well, you weren't in command so you can't say that!"

Since the #2 "business" guy at fox became a stoolie for kerry fox has gone into kerry overdrive.

Fox better get back to its roots or they will be on the basic lineup of cable. Fox was put on the premium lineup because people were willing to pay.

Why pay for "prettyboys" to spout DNC lines.

I still like foxnews over the others, for now. Fox should take note, FR beats them on raw journalistic comeptence.

(we should shun oreily)

If Hard news were a Thanksgiving Dinner, Shep Smith would be a Jujy Fruit at the kiddie table.

Shep and I have a personal game we play. "How fast can I turn the TV off after Brit Hume's show." Can I turn it off before "Scott Peterson" comes out of Shep's mouth? Not yet! But I'm gettin faster!

It's like saying two firemen from the same company did not
serve together because they ride to the fire on separate trucks.

Shep goes off on rants every once in a while renewing my impression that he's not the brightest bulb in the Fox fixture. I remember he was making fun of a hurricane evacuation when the storm veered off. That was VERY irresponsible and could lead to people ignoring the next warning when it doesn't veer. He is a youngster and tends to engage mouth before engaging brain.

This is a battle that was doomed from the outset. The only good thing you can say about this commercial is that you'll have the pleasure of ranting about Kerry's Vietnam lies for the next four years.

Fox is pissing me off to no end. I've had it with O'Reilly and rest of the them. Is there an alternative??

Foxnews has REALLY been ticking me off lately. It's like they have all been advised to shill for Kerry. Kerry gets all positive coverage from them.

It's like being in the same tank battalion and saying that you only served with your tank crew. How do you penetrate this nonsense? I guess since almost all of these pundits have never served in the military, they just don't understand how the military operates. The PCF crews operated together, were supported from the same bases, spent time together ashore, and belonged to the same command structure.

PCFs were 50FT long with a 13 FT beam and a crew of 6 (one officer and 5 enlisted). You would think the pundits were talking about an aircraft carrier.

I wouldn't be surprised if the White House was advising FNC to back away from the story.
