We Agree, It's Disgusting
Blogs for Bush ^ | June 26, 2004 | Matt Margolis

It was hard not to laugh at the Kerry campaign yesterday. Following the Bush campaign's release of the web video "Kerry's Coalition of the Wild-eyed" Kerry campaign spokesman released the following statement:

“The fact that George Bush thinks it’s appropriate to use images of Adolph Hitler in his campaign raises serious questions about his fitness to spend another four years in the White House. Adolph Hitler slaughtered millions of innocent people and has no place in a campaign that is supposed to be about the future and hope of this nation. The President’s use of these images during a month that evoked the memory of World War II is remarkably insensitive to the sacrifices of the millions of people who lost their lives during Hitler’s reign of terror.

“The Bush Campaign should immediately remove these hateful images from its website and apologize for using them. The use of Adolph Hitler by any campaign, politician or party is simply wrong.”

Bush/Cheney Email in reference to this....

On Thursday, the campaign launched a web video titled Kerry's Coalition of the Wild-eyed. The video featured Democrats who support John Kerry making negative and baseless attacks against the President. Interspersed in the video were segments of two ads that appeared on a website sponsored by MoveOn.org - a group campaigning for Kerry - in January.

On Friday night, John Kerry's campaign denounced our use of these ads, and called that use "disgusting."

The Kerry campaign says, "The use of Adolf Hitler by any campaign, politician or party is simply wrong."

We agree. These ads, like much of the hate-filled, angry rhetoric of Kerry's coalition of the Wild-eyed, are disgusting.

Where was John Kerry's disgust when he hired Zack Exley - the man responsible for encouraging the production of these ads as part of a MoveOn contest - to run the Kerry campaign's internet operation?
Where was John Kerry's sense of outrage when Al Gore, just yesterday afternoon, compared the Bush Administration to the Nazis saying, "The Administration works closely with a network of 'rapid response' digital Brown Shirts who work to pressure reporters and their editors for 'undermining support for our troops.'"
Where was John Kerry's anger when Al Gore in May spoke of "Bush's Gulag"?
Why has John Kerry not denounced billionaire and Democrat Party donor George Soros for comparing the Bush Administration to Nazis. Soros stated, "When I hear Bush say, 'You're either with us or against us,' it reminds me of the Germans. It conjures up memories of Nazi slogans on the walls, Der Feind Hort mit ('The enemy is listening')."
Why has Kerry not spoken out against filmmaker Michael Moore who last October compared the Patriot Act to Mein Kampf. "The Patriot Act is the first step. 'Mein Kampf' - 'Mein Kampf' was written long before Hitler came to power."
We created this web video to show the depths to which these Kerry supporters will sink to win in November.

Is this the Democratic Party of Franklin Delano Roosevelt who reassured his countrymen we have nothing to fear but fear itself?

No. This is John Kerry's Coalition of the Wild-eyed, who have nothing to offer but fear-mongering.

Can you believe that the donks fell into that trap? How dumb can you get?...

Pretty dumb to protest an image first used by your own side and then repeated in context as an illustration of how wild eyed you are.

Dumb and dumber and dumberest.

Liberals are nothing but hypocrites, it is pathetic.

I chat in a political room called Boston Tea Party or BTP for short. On Friday one of the Leftwingers came into the room complaining about the ad. So last night when he came back again I posted to the room that the chatter had complained because Hitler was used in the ad. So I replaced Kerry's name with his name.

All well and good, except if you're someone like my mom, who is not interested in politics, and knows nothing about MoveOn.org. All she's going to see is the ad itself. Then, she'll read the Cleveland Plain Dealer's version of how horrible it is that Bush used images of Hitler in his ad, and decide that yes, it was horrible that he did that, and go dutifully vote for John Kerry.

Most people are not as politically aware as Freepers, and are easily swayed by the MSM. And, they vote.

The Dems are counting on media outlets to only carry Kerry's side of this matter --his outrage at Bush campaign -- not the facts that his side of the aisle has been doing exactly this for overlong.

My own father also falls into that category. My "dumberest" comment was directed at the Kerry campaign people who are compaining about an image generated by their own side.Simple ignorance is better than willful ignorance although both are used effectively by the likes of Michael Moore.

As a minimum, we need to notify big media when they do so. To take Kerry's objections without further explaining that the very ads they're protesting came from THEM is pure, unadulterated lying. I wrote my local rag about this and if I do not see my letter in the paper I'm going to file a complaint with the FEC. Now they may not care, but at least I'm not just gonna take it!

Yes and Kerry's side generated the original images. The MSM is a real problem.

Sounds like we have the same Mother. Mine's almost 84 years old and she's never going to change.

That's right -- Dems did start it all. And they are counting on the partisan presses to only Kerry Carry's (:) ) side of "disgust". Quite possibly, the partisan presses will bury the ad/story instead of making a decision to do the right thing.
