Probably the only time I'll say "good job Matt Lauer."

Here is the transcript of Michael Moore on Dateline:NBC.

Noted items to add to the timeline: Prisoner abuse picture was taken on Dec. 12. Moore says it was in Basra. A poster on this thread says that NO American troops were in Basra. Also, Moore says that some footage came from embedded media. We need to find out who.

Have you seen the man recently? The only way that fat bastard would walk fifty yards is if there were someone baiting him with a plate of twinkies. And then he'd need oxygen afterward.

I am amazed at the way Matt Lauer skewered MM. That is a highly confrontational interview, and we don't see many of those from Matt Lauer.

Matt Lauer did a great job of not letting Moore get away with any of his leftist nonsense during the interview. By the end of it Moore was spluttering and confused. I think he only hangs out with sycophants and deranged leftists. The best part was when Moore talked about how he criticized Clinton and didn't vote for Gore in 2000. Keep up the good work, buddy!

I saw a bit of this interview and I was shocked that he wasn't getting the free pass the left normally gives to people like Moore...I expect he was shocked as well which explains his sputtering.

As far as not voting for Clinton or Gore, if we can believe him at all, just suggests he didn't bother to vote, because you know he didn't vote for Bush.

All of a sudden, Lauer has a tinge of concience?

A more cynical interpretation: Lauer works for NBC/Universal, which competes with the Disney/Harvey Weinstein conglomeration behind Michael Moore.

Or, Lauer finally realizes that Michael is a Republican plant whose sole purpose is to radicalize the dems leftwards to the point of irrelevancy.

Wow, Matt Lauer. I'm surprised, he was really sticking it 'twixt his blubbered over ribs.

Isn't Moore supporting Nader? That might be why. If Nader takes away votes it won't be from GWB. IHMO they see Nader as a threat to a Kerry presidency. Moore is an obstacle to that mission.

There was a prison there called Camp Bucca (think it may have closed down). One of the companies in our battalion provided medical support for that camp while we were there.

I wish Michael Moore's body temperature were raised to 911°F.

Easy. Just have him walk fifty yards in corduroy pants.

ROFL! That is darned funny, Petronski!

One of my co-workers was raving about "Roger and Me" and insisted I take the video home and watch it. I found it unbearable, unwatchable, spewing drivel from a self-absorbed jerk.

If Michael Moore didn't have a history of awful filmmaking extending back a number of years, I'd suspect that the Pubbies brought him on the scene to give the Dem left a bad image.

Thanks for the ping. I thought the program was on at 10pm, so when I turned it on, it was already over. Oh well at least the Dodgers won ;-D

Ol' fatso was really slipping and sliding, according to the transcript. I really have to give Matt Lauer props for not fauning all over him. Lauer was very professional, and wouldn't let Leni Moore wiggle out of inconsistent statements.

Moore has his sticky fingers all over the prison abuse scandal. Maybe someone knows who the imbedded media members were/are. If no American troops were in Basra, then who was abusing the prisoners? This is getting pretty weird. Was Nick Berg in Basra around Dec 12th? I'm saying around that date, because Moore will muddy the waters to cover his ass. Lol, you'd need the Mississippi to cover that rear end.

You don't need to be a freelance journalist to shoot a good pic.

When I was at General Motors and used to make money, a very liberal guy I worked with saw "Roger and Me". He said if he was Roger, he wouldn't have met with Moore either!

I sure hope so. I mean .. these people were supposed to be screened and agreed to release only approved film. I think the defense dept would have a good case against those media people who cooperated with Moore - who obviously got paid by Moore to provide him with the video.

And .. when it's found out who those people were who helped Moore .. I would terminate their priviledges in Iraq and in any other country where we have troops. They have the right to print what they see .. they don't have the right to BETRAY OUR TRUST and the agreement they signed with us.
