FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

COALITION SOLDIERS QUESTION NEWS MEDIA FOLLOWING ROADSIDE BOMB

MOSUL, Iraq - Coalition soldiers questioned two news media cameramen and a reporter after a roadside bomb exploded near a Coalition convoy two kilometers north of Mosul June 3.

The media, who were at the scene prior to the attack, told soldiers at the scene they had received a tip to be at that location prior to the attack and they had witnessed the explosion.

There was minimal damage to a Coalition vehicle, a cracked windshield, and no serious injuries.

3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division soldiers requested the media accompany them to a base camp in Mosul to answer questions as witnesses to the incident. The news media representatives left the base camp in the mid afternoon.

Cool, no problem . . .

If you insert a <br> at the end of a line (or, after a photograph), you'll get a line break. If you insert a <p> after a line (or pic), you'll get a paragraph break; i.e., a line break plus a blank line.

Please tell me how wishing our laws to be followed is being a WA? Perhaps we should take this to FR mail as this has went far offtopic for this thread.

If you are using Internet Explorer, click VIEW on the Toolbar then click SOURCE and you can see the whole page in HTTP source code so if you see something cool on a page that you like, you can copy or cut/paste to a file for later edit/use.

Here's where I learned what little I know about HTML. Don't need much to get by. :-)

Among other things, they're playing us for fools. Just like Palestinian terrorists in the UN ambulances a couple of weeks ago. SOP.

The "reporters" should be treated like enemy forward observers

Another very nice summary of useful HTML commands has been compiled by various Freepers over the years and is posted occasionally with the title HTML Sandbox. But don't let the title put you off . . . I've learned lots of nice little tricks browsing through those postings. When I first came to FR, I knew nothing about it. Cheers! :-)

Exactly! That's exactly what they are, isn't it? Can't believe what libs have done to our thought processes over the years. Evil. Pure evil.

The real kicker in this story is that the troops were 2ID. It speaks volumes about a different reality.

Making war against the United States, killing our soldiers, bombing our materiel and vehicles, and giving aid and comfort to the enemy actually still is called TREASON. These media personnel should be convicted of treason and executed.

Only if they are Americans, or citizens of one of our coalition partners. Perhaps even if they are Iraqis. Most likely they are Palistinian or Pakistani, although Kuwaiti, Saudi or other Arabs are also possibilities.

Sure enough that's what happened and the Jezeera people let the EOD soldiers walk into that trap and didn't lift a finger to warn them.

Next time, "escort" any "journalists", especially Al Jezeeries, to get a nice close photo op of the bomb being disarmed. That should loosen a few tongues.

Everybody makes mistakes. I make a zillion a day, lol!

When posting, if you hit 'Preview' before hitting 'Post' you can proofread your comments, check that your links work, etc.

'Course, I say that, but do I do it myself? Heck, no, rarely! That's why I say things like "They 'ya go!" LOL. :-)
