We all do it. We all smack our palms to our foreheads and trip on our own ideological shoelaces, and we are exasperating and thoughtlessly cruel without knowing it, running roughshod over our noble or ignoble intentions on a daily basis because, well, we are just wired this way. Just ask Mel "Spurtin' Blood" Gibson -- I mean, how much more wrong can you get?

There comes a time too, Mr. Morford, when one has to realize that perhaps one isn't as bright and intelligent as one thinks one is. That perhaps one's moral and political philosophies are defunct. That perhaps one is quite frankly, quite dense and not too intelligent at all. That perhaps just because one is a "journalist/reporter", that perhaps the same is closer to being a buffoon than a sage! That perhaps one's own political philosophies are impacting far too greatly one's emotions inducing unprovoked personal feelings of hate, rage, bigotry, and a host of other things as well!

So hey, if the obvious apologies aren't going to be issued, then why do you hold your breath for the ones that shouldn't be issued!
