Bush and the 'Bo' factor

President Bush will likely win re-election and here's one reason why: Bo Derek.
A few weeks ago, Bo made a surprise visit to Bush-Cheney headquarters in Arlington, Va. Staffers said she is more beautiful and lovely than ever, which makes sense. Bo is beautiful because she is poised and eloquent.
That got me to thinking about the other Hollywood celebrities.
Most are to the far left, and they've been busy of late. When they're not weaving anti-Bush messages into television shows and movies, they're holding anti-Bush rallies and fund-raisers for John Kerry. They're more united than ever in their burning desire to unseat Bush.
And in the process they lose their composure -- frequently.

"There is no end to the nutty thinking that is coming out of Hollywood, because thinking doesn't have much to do with it. In Hollywood, as in the rest of America, our liberal friends tend to react to issues and events based on how they feel, whereas the more conservative among us tend to respond based on how we think.
This is really not surprising. The job of an actor is to feel a part. Their whole professional career is predicated on having a finely-tuned emotional apparatus. That is how they become successful.
What is really surprising is that Democratic Party as a whole is willing to adopt this mode of operation. It's political suicide.

McCarthy was right. They are a nest of commie vipers. This is a free country. And they have a right to be a nest of commie vipers. And I'm not calling for a return of the days of HUAC hearings. But for the record: McCarthy was right. Hollywood is a nest of commie vipers.

The "hate Bush" Hollywood crowd sure is a repulsive group of people when you look at them. Michael Moore, Barbara Streisand, Larry Flynt, Whoopi Goldberg, Al Franken, and Rosie O'Donnell, to name just a few. Do typical Americans identify with that sorry lot? I certainly hope not. These people are so consumed with hate and anti-American sentiment that they are ugly and repulsive to me.

The fact is the more emotional and nutty our Hollywood liberals get, the better off Bush is going to be. Bingo. Good find, and thanks for posting this, Willie Green.

A friend of over fifty years visited me recently. He has appeared in a number of films and has lived in Hollywood part time. As our conversation went from recalling old friends to current affairs I was aghast as to how shallow he had become. As he would set forth some astonishing opinion or conclusion, I would ask him for one or two facts to back up his opinion or conclusion and he would say he didn't need facts and that the opinion or conclusion was self-evident. After more than day of this, I told my wife that I didn't know whether I could cope any longer.
I should note that in high school this friend was above average in intelligence, if not in grades.

In the interest of accuracy, Ed Asner did not say he "respected" Joseph Stalin, and that Stalin was "misunderstood", as stated in the article. He actually said it's a mystery why there have been no movies about Stalin, and mentioned how he killed more people than Hitler. The writer who originally interviewed Asner and attributed the quotes to him, Kevin McCullough, has retracted his statements.

Most of the Fifth Column quit defending Uncle Joe after Kruschev denouced him. They hardly becme Trotskites. They are in the same league with the Experimentalists/Progressive educationists who dominate our teaching colleges. Communism HAS to work. It is the essense of their True Belief in the inevitability of their Dogma.
Make no mistake. Asner is a flat out Communist.

Communism HAS to work. It is the essense of their True Belief in the inevitability of their Dogma.Yes, great point. If one wants a better world than we have seen throughout history, and one cannot or will not turn to a higher power, the only alternative is government manipulation by force. It doesn't matter to them that it hasn't worked and won't work, it MUST work because there is no alternative.

FYI -- Yankees' star Alex Rodriguez has given $2,000 to Bush's re-election campaign. So has George Steinbrenner. Hooray!

They're more united than ever in their burning desire to unseat Bush. And in the process they lose their composure -- frequently.
I went to my hair stylist yesterday, a gay and liberal left person. He has always been a very kind concerned type person. When Bush was barely mentioned; he went off on him with such hatred, it shocked me. He was burning with hate, making a fool of himself. In that setting and the fact he was styling my hair, I quietly said I was a conservative, and was sorry he felt that way. Dropped it immediately.
This article addresses the hollyweirdos' feelings precisely. Little does this poor fella (my hair stylist) realize; under the type of government he thinks would be best for America and the liberal left, he would be eliminated in the first roundup of the undesired.
