Stuart Varney In For Cavuto Today!
Foxnews ^ | Conservativeman55

Stuart Varney is filling in for Neil Cavuto today. If I'm not mistaken this guy is very very Conservative. He is from England, and reminds me of Churchill a lot.

This is the first time I've seen him host. But I've seen him take liberals APART before. He said he's going to be debating later in the hour.

One of the nation’s most respected business journalists, Stuart Varney is the former host of CNBC’s Wall Street Journal Editorial Board with Stuart Varney. Previously, he was co-anchor of CNN’s daily business program, The Moneyline News Hour, and was part of the team that launched CNN’s business news division in 1980. During his tenure at CNN, he hosted many of the network’s financial programs.

An economist trained at the prestigious London School of Economics, Varney is known for his charismatic, articulate, and candid style, offering audiences up-to-the-minute financial and economic analysis. Varney joined the Fox News Channel in December 2003 as a contributor to a variety of the network's shows.

He used to host the short-lived 'Wall Street Journal editorial Board" on CNBC. He's excellent!

CNN Star Quits in Wake of Ted Turner¨fs "Ash" Insult

NEW YORK, MAR. 18, 2001 (Zenit.org).- In the wake of CNN founder Ted Turner's
insult against Ash Wednesday
observers, one of CNN's stars quit his post last week.

Stuart Varney quit as co-anchor of Cable News Network's prime-time financial
news show "Moneyline News Hour," the New
York Daily News reported March 14. Varney quit after hearing Turner call CNN
employees who observed Ash Wednesday
"Jesus freaks."

Turner later apologized for his remark. He had been heard to voice disparaging
remarks against the Catholic Church on other
occasions. For Varney, who began to work for CNN in 1980, the comment on Ash
Wednesday was the last straw, the News
said.

Reuters reported that Varney had been critical of the CNN show's direction for
some time. Neither CNN nor Varney
commented on the press reports.

I'll be watching for the real debate later in the hour. Right now they are talking about business dealings.

I'm hoping that maybe this is a trial run, and Fox will give Stuart his own show.

I thought I recognized this guy. The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board show wasn't half bad.

This man's stock just went way up since reading that he quit CNN because of Ted Turner.

Hope Neil's okay.
