This whole 9/11 commission and hearings was a waste of both taxpayers money and time.WHAT'S THE POINT? Whats done is done and this is like beating a dead horse. The reason the democratzis wanted it in the first place was to cast lies and other false aspersions on the Bush administration. What's needed is a commission to investigate John Kerry.

Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle, D-S.D., said on the Senate floor Wednesday that the Bush administration needed to answer Clarke's criticisms rather than make personal attacks on him.

Interpretation. Quit pointing out the contradictions between Clarke's former testimony and his current flip flop and start apologizing for not being able to see into the future.

To try and get John Kerry elected, of course. ;)

Maybe I have just missed some reporting here; but seems Fox News are the only ones who see any relevance in the contradictions.

Daschle stays on message:Any use of a Democrats (or Democrat sycophants)own prior words against them is and "attack".

Drudge is even ignoring it. Amazing...

Drudge is more concerned today with the middle finger of the guy from American Idol...

So, he said he lied for Bush in 2002. I say he's lying for Kerry in 2004.

You got to wonder though why Clarke's resignation letter warranted the siren treatment but direct contradictions in testimony under oath is ignored!

Drudge must have a grudge against Fox.

False in one thing, false in all, as they say in court. :))

President Bush and senior administration officials should do all they can to clear up these troubling questions," Daschle said.

NEWS FLASH: Tom Daschle still "deeply troubled," not to mentioned "saddened."

As some suggested earlier, where is the "Commission on the 1993 WTC Bombing," the "Commission on the Kobahr Towers Bombing," the "Commission on the Bombing of the US Embassy in Kenya," the "Commission on the Bombing of the USS Cole," etc, etc, etc.?

Correct, and a good attorney would have nailed this guy to the wall for his contradictory statements (2002 vs. today), and the jury would have been left with the conviction that he is an unreliable witness.
