Pardon my vanity: But I must post how funny and entertaining the liberals are

Posted on 02/24/2004 7:06:07 PM PST by Treeless Branch

Thank you to free republic for allowing me to post this. I work with a bunch of libs so this is my only outlet.

My post: Holy cow, the libs have now become state righters. The new JFK actually said today that gay marriage is a state's rights issue. This from the same party who hasn't supported state's rights in over 100 years. So fricking funny!!!

And then the high comedy continues: the libs have the sheer audacity to say we shouldn't amend the Constitution because it is a "sacred" document. Sweet Lord, that is the funniest, most hypocritical thing I have ever heard in the history of politics because this is coming from libs - WHO UNTIL TODAY - preached how the Consitution is a "living document" that "changes with the times." Amazing, the audacity of the left as they criticize a proposal for amending the Constitution ACCORDING TO THE AMENDMENT PROVISIONS IN THE CONSTITUTION when liberals completely ignore the amendment provisions all of the time and, through activist judges, change the constitution's meaning on a continual basis. Absolutely mind boggling, but so very, very entertaining, and funny!!!

I cannot find one clear thinking liberal that will admit how ridiculous the left is??? Are there any clear thinking democrats left?

I noticed that also. Was watching ABC news when Kerry and Edwards both commented that it should be left up to the states. I laughed to my wife and commented, "Since when did a liberal give a damn about States Rights?"

Holy cow, the libs have now become state righters.

That'll change - next week - when something new in their agenda can be achieved via federal 'misuse' of power ....

...we shouldn't amend the Constitution because it is a "sacred" document.

Well, I guess that shoots all their objections to the Second Amendment all to pieces, now doesn't it?

I find nothing funny about the enemy in wartime.
They are deadly serious.

Ask 'em if states' rights extends to abortion.

That'll fire 'em up for weeks. :-)

"Since when did a liberal give a damn about States Rights?"

Next thing you know, Kerry will be telling us it's all about slavery!

Now it's "sacred"?
So does this mean we should go back and take out all the already "ammended" stuff, too?.....:)

Thank you all for posting similar ideas.

I was thinking this at work all day and was amazed that Rush, Hannity or Savage did not succinctly focus on these two thoughts that I posted here. It seems so apparent.

But seriously, thank God for the outlet of Free Republic.

I do not call them liberals anymore. I call them what they truly are, demoCommiecRATS(not capitolised on purpose)!!!!
They truly earned the title of demoCommiecRATS over a period of many years. The thing that I cannot stand about them, the most, is they consistently side with our enemies, promote socialism/communism, and immoral behavior, for example:
http://www.dsausa.org/
and almost always want to aid, abet, and give comfort and support to our enemies. They continually seek to weaken our defenses and our military, tax U.S. to death so they can line their pockets and mushroom the size of non defense
government, promote every ludicrous form of behavior, in no small part with the entertainment industry(Hollywood, NEA and all the rest), and their lack of will to want to live responsibly, calling for continued mass murder of the unborn, Thank God, I refuse to become as any one of those demoCommiecRATS!!!!

I pray to the Lord above for his blessing to continue fighting for good over evil.

And Kerry says Bush is a walking contradiction.

????????

What's the term for when you take your faults and apply them to another?

I swear, some days I live in bizarro world.

We should strike while the iron is hot for that issue and use the leverage against the gun grabbers.
