[history]
Pardon us for interrupting the Beltway brawl over Iraq intelligence, but has anyone else noticed the recent landmark progress against nuclear proliferation? The latest breakthrough came this week in Pakistan, where a scientist confessed on television to his nuclear weapons deals during the 1990s.

And the Dims response:
"But, but, no nukes have gone off on U.S. soil."
and if one does go off, say in South Carolina:
"But, but, New York, California, D.C., and all the important places weren't hit."
ad nauseum...

The press will try to ignore the growing strength of the economy. The press will try to ignore the good results of our having invaded Iraq. But facts are facts, and they will become known even when suppressed by the press.

Libya, another intelligence failure.
They were much further along on their WMD than we tought.
Pakistan (our "friend") gave Libya (rogue state) nuclear technology.
Pakistan (our "friend") has WMD.
Pakistan (our "friend") supported the Taliban.
Pakistan (our "friend") supported Osama bin Laden (as did Reagan & George I).
.. and Iraq was our enemy?

Pakistan (our "friend") supported Osama bin Laden (as did Reagan & George IReagan and Bush did not support bin Laden. That's another one of the many leftist lies/misinformation out there. I don't know that Pakistan supported him - what's your source?

True. No Dem would care if a nuke went off in a "red" state.

The above is the reason why G.W. should be re-elected. All else is secondary. The proxi-war of the Wahabis is not over. With a democrat on top, they will be able to regroup.
To: jmstein7
Bush strategy strategery is working. There, that's it.

One source:

I should have said Reagan supported the Mujahadeen (sp?)
against the Soviets in Afghanistan.
My point was that we have a bad habit of picking our "friends"
Incomplete list of friends turned enemies:
Soviets, Iran, Iraq, Mujahadeen (al-Qaeda).
I have not and never will vote for the insane Democrats.
Ditto for the hypocritical Republicans.
Hillary, if you recall, supported this war.
Repubs give lip service to smaller gov't and truthfulness.
I cannot understand how a country that couldn't even defeat Iran (with our help), that had no WMD that could reach further than 100 miles could possibly be a threat ("imminent", "grave & gathering" or otherwise).

True. No Dem would care if a nuke went off in a "red" state. Dems wouldn't care if a nuke went off in a "blue" state either as long as they could blame a Republican for it. Liberals are about acquiring power BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.
