Disagree about some of their medical care. In our experience, their alternative care is enviable.
Our pharmaceutical company driven health care is not rated nearly tops in the world scene. What is tops is our emergency care procedure.
My spouse's medical problem caused Georgetown specialists to say they had no answer. Went to England for a diagnostic check up with a German device. They (with no prior inkling of surmise from us) diagnosed and named the rare tropical "bug" along with other problems in less than a minute (whereas it took umpty sputum and blood tests and tropical disease specialists three weeks at Georgetown U. Hosp. to even identify the thing).
Homeopathic treatment got entirely rid of the thing so that one doesn't have to wait for age to weaken the immune system and then administer high flown antibiotics to destroy all the GOOD along with the little bad entities (Georgetown’s answer) and wipe out the whole of the immune system leaving one vulnerable to everything else that is opportunistic
Know quite a number of people who get answers there or in Germany for things that boggle our allopathic system because thinking outside the pharmaceutical company prescribed box is “verboten”

Thank you,spirited,our NHS,though not perfect,is a good system.Too many here and too many Americans simply recoil in horror for no other reason than because it is a 'socialist' system.
