DO WE WANT TO GO THROUGH THE CLINTON THING AGAIN?
A quick word about the surging candidacy of Weasley Clark. Remember, he was fired. Not your ordinary retirement from years of service in our armed forces. He was fired. He lost his command in the Kosovo/Bosnia campaign because of what his superior defined as issues involving "integrity and character." Perhaps some of you have heard the rumors. We'll just say, do we need more of the Clinton-type scandals in the White House?
Now it's generally recognized that Bill and Hillary are behind the nomination of Weasley Clark. To understand why you need to understand that Bill and Hillary want George Bush to win reelection. They do not want a Democrat to win in 2004. Hillary wants to run in 2008, and a Democrat in the White House puts the big kibosh on those plans. So why push the Clark candidacy? Think it through. Who was the Commander in Chief when Clark was relieved of his command? And who knows all of the reasons why Clark was fired? And who would be in the position to make sure that those facts somehow made it into the press coverage of the election. The Clintons are helping to make Clark's candidacy now ... and they know they can take action to destroy that candidacy when the time is right.

They have to be pretty power hungry to set up a guy so he can lose. What a dupe.

Pffft! Nothing compared to taking out underlings who know too much and might be unreliable. Go read the downside legacy.

Not a doubt in my mind that they are setting him up to take a fall, but not so Bush will be elected. They are doing it so hillary can step in and take the dem nomination at the convention. You watch. I stand by my prediction, even as I pray I'm wrong.

For how many more years can Hillary! keep the weight and looks under control - that places *one* time limit on how far out she can run ...

IIRC, he was relieved of his NATO command significantly earlier than scheduled. GEN Shelton responded to a question about why Clark was transferred with the "character and integrity" comment.
In the world of flag grade officers, no one is "fired" unless they have committed a court-martial scale offense - they are transferred to a dead-end job or retire.

Liposuction. Face lifts. Teeth caps. Nose jobs.
Personal trainers. Money for designer clothes &
image consultant. Month-long stays at luxurious
spas. Eye lifts. Money. Money. Money. Money. They
have plenty of it coming in from all sorts of
supporters. As bad as she wants this - she will
diet in addition to the plastic surgery blitz -
at least until after she gets what she wants...
Bill Clinton as "first lady".

We're all looking at 'Clark/possibly Clinton' ticket, and that scares the hell out of
ME. I saw this coming months ago.

they are transferred to a dead-end job or retireExactly right.!
For an Officer in the Service, it is the same as being fired.

Boortz is second rate and is desparate to compete with Rush, Hannity and his "superiors".
Little of what he is saying makes any sense. CLinton introduced Clark as the only shining star of the party next to Hillary. Clinton cronies including Bloodworth-Thomas are crawling all over each other in support of Clark.
I agree with those who predict a Clark/Hillary ticket. If Clinton has anything on him, they will hope he is elected and then drop the bomb, force his resignation and then- boom- President Hillary.

I, for one, would like to know why Clark was fired. It should be public info. for an individual who intends to run for the most powerful position on earth. We all deserve to know, and I can't understand why it has been secret to this point.

I want more than anything for the Clinton's to just go away. Not only did we have to endure 8 long years of the most corrupt administration in the history of this nation, but now they are hanging over our heads again.
They never left like other former Presidents and First Ladies, they are a curse on us that just can't seem to be removed. I can't bear the thought of having them back in the White House again. This nation could not take that again. We lost so much in the 8 years they ruled this country with such corruption and contempt.
They divided us into camps that we may never recover from again. They still divide us. At this time in our history, what we need most is to be united. We are facing an enemy unlike any other we have ever encountered.
The left is making sure that we distrust the reasons for the war, completely clouding the fact that we were attacked first, and convincing many that our President knew about it in advance and that he lied about the reasons. The Clinton's are behind this entire smear campaign and have been from the beginning. I fear for this nation as long as they are a threat to our security. Sorry for the length, but this is something I am so passionate about. The Clinton's must be exposed.

I pray you're wrong, also. On the one hand, Hillary risks less direct exposure to the media if she waits until the convention to step in; on the other hand, she'll still have to face Bush in some kind of debate, unless she runs as a VP and the dem ticket wins. Then, after a couple of years, she could step in if there was some "reason" the dem president couldn't complete his term. That would seem more Clintonesque.
Wouldn't it be fun to see her face Cheney in a debate if she were the VP candidate, though? The thought makes me almost laugh.

"But do not underestimate him." That would be difficult...
Senior Military are not usually quoted slamming a fellow officer..
General Shelton nailed him because he knew the truth about Clark and knew that many of his fellow Senior Officers knew and had the same opinion...
There is one thing about the Officer Corps....
They know the "worms" amongst them...
Once an officer has lost the faith and trust of his fellow officers -- he is literally, dead meat.
Clark is so dead, the worms have already devoured his brain.
I don't doubt for a moment, that if nominated - Clark would collect a lot of votes..
But remember - more than 45% of Americans were assholes enough to vote for Clinton the SECOND time!
But that was the cute and smooth talking Clinton.
I knew Clinton, Clinton was an enemy of mine - and Clark ain't no Clinton.
