Homosexuals Pursuing Stealth Agenda
CBN News ^ | 1/8/04 | By Paul Strand

CBN.comWASHINGTON -- Homosexuals have won so many battles in legislatures, courts and the media, they can almost taste total victory just ahead.

Gay rights lobbyist Toni Broaddus said, "We stand at this turning point in history. It's truly a historical moment."

Ben Bull, legal counsel for the Alliance Defense Fund, a traditional values advocacy group, agrees.

Bull said, "The homosexual agenda is making major gains, just in the last 10 or 15 years."

Atlanta pastor D.L. Foster is an ex-homosexual. He said of homosexuals, "They have a plan. They are executing that plan with precision, and they are achieving astonishing results."

One of the places the homosexual agenda is making the most headway is right where you'd expect it. In the Golden State -- California.

From a popular gay beach in ritzy Laguna Beach to San Francisco's Castro Street, arguably the capital of Gay America, the gay banner -- the rainbow flag -- flies over city streets filled with same-sex couples holding hands. And even the billboards honor those who've come out of the closet.

Broaddus said if all the gay rights bills now before the California legislature pass, "...We will have the strongest set of civil rights protections in the country for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Californians."

In Sacramento, family rights advocate Randy Thomasson often fights these special rights for homosexuals because he believes they erode traditional family values. He cites the civil unions bill that just passed in California, giving gays marriage in everything but name.

"We're setting it up for children to become confused: should I marry a boy or a girl, a man or a woman?" Thomasson said.

CBN News asked Thomasson to reel off some of the latest advances for the homosexual agenda in California.

In the workplace: "Fines against businesses who don't hire transsexuals."

In adoption: "Gray Davis is allowing homosexual couples to jointly adopt children."

And in the schools:

"Transsexual teachers (are allowed)...And kids have to be taught to appreciate sexual orientation before graduation."

If recent history is any guide, where California goes first, America usually follows within a few years.

You can already see the gay rights advances showing up in other states:

--Various ones have legalized or are debating legalizing homosexual adoption.

--Some states have given domestic partners rights previously reserved for married couples.

--New York has just opened up the first high school exclusively for homosexual students.

--The University of Michigan is offering a course called "How to be Gay."

--And, any day now, the Massachusetts Supreme Court may well declare gay marriage itself legal.

And if that happens, both sides say they're ramping up for the ultimate fight: arguing before the U.S. Supreme Court the issue of gay marriage.

The reason that's considered the climactic battle is because if the nation's highest court approves same sex marriage, it's basically blessing homosexuality as equal in every legal and moral way to heterosexuality.

"We know that there's going to be a backlash, we know that we're going to be under attack from the right, but we feel like full equality is within our grasp," Broaddus said.

Ex-homosexual Jonathan Hunter of Desert Stream Ministries said,

"It's a mighty battle ahead."

How did this happen in a country where homosexuals were almost all in the closet as little as four decades ago?

In a book called "The Homosexual Agenda," two of Ben Bull's colleagues at the Alliance Defense Fund warn about a complex and well-thought-out strategy to make America "gay friendly" and hostile to those who resist.

These Christian authors quote extensively from "After the Ball," a 1989 gay manifesto that laid out this agenda.

But Broaddus denies such an agenda exists.

"There's no secret plan or even public plan at this point," he said.

But the authors of "After the Ball" discuss in the book a 1988 summit of gay leaders in Warrenton, Virginia, where the agenda was proposed.

These authors are a reportedly brilliant researcher into the brain, Marshall Kirk, and a Harvard-trained expert in public persuasion tactics, Hunter Madsen.

The two proposed using on straight America tactics remarkably similar to the brainwashing methods of Mao Tse-Tung's Communist Chinese, mixed with Madison Avenue's most persuasive selling techniques.

The purpose of this brainwashing?

The books says: "...using the very processes that made America hate us to turn their hatred into warm regard -- whether they like it or not."

First, the authors proposed homosexuals and their liberal allies should desensitize heterosexuals by getting homosexuality talked about as much as possible in the straight world.

"The main thing is talk about gayness until the issue becomes thoroughly tiresome," they said. "You can forget about trying right up front to persuade folks that homosexuality is a good thing. But if you can get them to think it is just another thing -- meriting no more than a shrug of the shoulders -- then your battle for legal and social rights is virtually won."

And recently we have seen a tidal wave of gays and gay themes in the media.

"Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" is one of America's most popular new shows. The same cable network highlights a homosexual dating show -- "Boy Meets Boy" -- and even a reality show about homosexuals making their wedding plans.

Cable hit "Queer as Folk" frequently features gay sex scenes.

The Oscar-winning "American Beauty" showed a homophobic, gun-toting Marine officer blowing away Kevin Spacey because he suspects his own son is being seduced by Spacey. All the film's lead characters were deeply dysfunctional, and the only well-adjusted couple was Spacey's gay neighbors Jim and Jim.

"In and Out" had wise and winning teacher Kevin Kline discover he's gay, and then mocked Middle Americans who have a problem with that.

And the good, kind, understanding homosexual next door has been seen in so many movies and TV series, he's become somewhat of a cliche.

But former liberal radio-talk show host Stephanie Miller disagrees there's a monolithic liberal media backing a gay agenda.

"What is this thing 'the liberal media'? Can you get on the Fox Network, can you get a radio show if you're liberal?...no," she said. "All Hollywood cares about is money, money, money...straight, gay, doesn't matter."

But these days some 30 regular homosexual characters are being beamed into your home by the major networks every week.

As Kirk and Madsen put it: "The average American watches over seven hours of TV daily. Those hours open up a gateway into the private world of straights, through which a Trojan Horse might be passed."

We need to do something about this...but what?

If you speak out against immorality you are branded as a homophobe, and violence against gays is no longer tolerated. (Not that violence should violence be used against them...love the sinner, and hate the sin.)

The homosexual agenda is turning America into a place inhospitable for real Christians. But what can we do?

Why is it that we are willing to band together to fight against the Reagan documentary, but not willing to fight the creeping perversions into the other programs?

There is something almost pathetically tragic about an article written to inform people that there is a battle to be fought on this issue when, in fact, the fight isn't beginning, it is almost over.

I think this a little paranoid. Are you gay? No. So don't worry about it! Some gay people annoy me too but gay people are not destroying America. Arab terrorsits are destroying America!

About 10 years ago, one of my senior Chief Petty Officers submitted his retirement papers. Among his remarks were, "When I joined the the military, homosexuality was prohibited. Now it's optional. I'm gonna retire before it becomes mandatory".

In the not too distant future, elementary school teachers will be required to ask Johnny if he wants to marry a man or woman when he grows up. Our limp legislators have passed way too much power to our out of control judiciary, and that judiciary has declared war on our deepest, strongest American traditions.

Do you truly believe that in the not too distant future, elementary school teachers will be asking their students what sex they want their spouse to be?

So who exactly should violence be used against, since tying homos to fences and beating them to death is apparently no longer an okey dokey thing to do in this world gone mad?

Sure. Homosexuals are a repressed minority denied their Constitutional and God given rights to bugger the bunghole of their significant other. Diversity requires that all lifestyles be given equal encouragement.</sarcasm>

Note to CBN: following the formula of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion is not going to help the credibility of your story.

It's a shame when so much else in the article is accurate, and then boom, tin foil everywhere.

It's not that simple.
