About 10 years ago, one of my senior Chief Petty Officers submitted his retirement papers. Among his remarks were, "When I joined the the military, homosexuality was prohibited. Now it's optional. I'm gonna retire before it becomes mandatory".
In the not too distant future, elementary school teachers will be required to ask Johnny if he wants to marry a man or woman when he grows up. Our limp legislators have passed way too much power to our out of control judiciary, and that judiciary has declared war on our deepest, strongest American traditions.

Do you truly believe that in the not too distant future, elementary school teachers will be asking their students what sex they want their spouse to be?

"When I joined the the military, homosexuality was prohibited. Now it's optional. I'm gonna retire before it becomes mandatory"."POLL SHOWS AMERICANS OPPOSE GAY MARRIAGE; BUT 9TH CIRCUIT COURT REVERSES POLL RESULTS
WASHINGTON -- The latest New York Times/CBS News poll showed that Americans oppose same-sex marriage by a 61-34 margin.
However, within hours of the poll's publication, a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel overturned the poll results and ordered Americans to change their minds about homosexual marriage.
"The Court finds no reasonable precedent for the deeply-held beliefs of most Americans," according to the 13-page ruling. "Therefore, the survey results will forthwith demonstrate that 61 percent of Americans favor same-sex marriage, and only 34 percent oppose the concept."
