Back in 1996 there was a website for teh fans of teh TV series Highlander.
On said site was a post forum much like this one.
A certain person named "Valentine's Kiss" started being harrassing, somewhat like our troll here in some ways, and got themselves banned.
Well, they kept coming back afterwards as "Val".
(That forum was setup somewhat differently, you could come back with your previous handle. Here.. you can't.)

Val had dial up and a webTV as well.
The WebTV was shutdown, and their service provider put them on a permanent addy (Static IP)

They were eventually permanently banned as mentioned.
But first we had to document it, and track it ourselves.
In other words, we had to prove a history of harrassment.

Difference here is that Val started posting porn and other things, and Timmy here is just being an annoying twerp so far.
