The French people elected their leadership. I love it when people who elect people say "It's not us. It's our leaders.". The Fraternal Order of Police is world renowned for this. Police officers say they support our right to own guns yet their union, the FOP, says we shouldn;t have guns. The rank and file say "It's not our fault.". I'm pretty good at cutting to the chase and this sort of obfuscation doesn't work for me. If their leaders do this then it's their fault.

I think that since there must be a few people in France who did not vote for Chirac, and who do not agree with his policy , it would help us here in the US if they would just put themselves on a list, I mean how simple would that be?
