Kushner is not God, who spoke through Paul in Romans 1:24-32 about what happens when people dishonor their bodies by choosing to live a homosexual lifestyle.

One more reason NOT to go the extra bucks each month for extended cable. Anyone catch the program?

Catholic Ping - let me know if you want on/off this list

I tried watching it the other night in an attempt to see what the fuss was about. Had to switch it off when the two gay guys started getting touchy.

They can do what they want, but I don't have to watch.

And as far as the gays were concerned back in the 80s, there were two causes of AIDS: 1) Ronald Reagan and 2) the pharmaceutical companies.

Best thing I did was cancel my HBO subscription. Don't miss the garbage at all.

Unfortunately many of these HBO productions end up on the network--Band of Brothers, for example, and I expect others will follow. That's how things become mainstream. Small steps taken by cable networks who ask for premium prices to view this trash...then slowly it makes it way to the networks. Gotta watch this process, like the boiling frog analogy.

I don't wish anything but a cure for AIDS patients, but turning victims of a behavior-related fatal disease into saints is bizarre to say the least. And in fact some of these people were responsible for truly innocent people becoming infected through blood transfusions before blood supplies were screened. Angels my rear.

Al Pacino sank to a new low. He went from macho Michael in The God Father, to a homo Lawyer hiding behind his wedding ring. When he constantly caressed and rubbed the shoulders of his apprentice, in a sexual way, while gazing into his eyes so lovingly, I wanted to puke. Why Pacino took this role is beyond me. Maybe he's gay? I don't know.

The worst part of the movie, was when they actually showed one guy picking up another guy in the park, and both of them going at it, standing up...doggie style. I swear..that did it and I was out of there.

Didn't even want to wait for the appearance of an "Angel", or to find out of the Angel was Gay as well.. This show was disturbing and disquesting.

I had a subscription to the Kennedy Center for years but when I saw this play, I walked out and refused to renew my subscription. (They also had other queer plays on, too).

I read this on EWTN Q and A a while back. It sums up my feelings regarding this topic:

I cannot help but notice how many people are not only completely understanding about homosexual tendencies, but can't possibly understand why people have a problem with it. And I have to respond that because of what we've been exposed to and thereby desensitized to, our natural response has been dulled. It is precisely because so many have "come out" and media coverage has increased (to the point where the editor of the Sunday NY Times Magazine has recently been quoted as saying if one didn't know better, one would think his publication was gay) that the concept of homosexuality has taken on a "normal" glow.
But who, in the current climate, can honestly express any sort of natural revulsion towards homosexual acts without being branded a "homophobe"? (By the way, I've never been afraid of them, so I never quite understood the phrase). It's gotten to the point where it's almost a hate crime to think that homosexual acts aren't as loving and self-giving as married heterosexual acts. I don't hate anyone, let me make that clear. But please let me say this: some things are naturally disgusting. And when someone I know does something I think is really disgusting, it doesn't make me want to hang around with them much. The reality is that there IS a natural repulsiveness toward turning a biological exit into a sexual input. And whenever a man proclaims himself "gay", that's exactly what I think of, because they themselves have reduced their identity and definition of themselves to a perverted sexual act.

It is this exposure of homosexuality that I object to. If one's tendencies are such, why does anyone need to be aware of them? Why, especially in the case of someone who is trying to live chastely, do they still feel free to label themselves gay and want me to accept them as completely normal? Because it advances their agenda, that's why. If struggling homosexuals would take their pain to the confessional and keep it, like all sin, a private matter between themselves, their confessor and God, it would do them and all of us a world of good. "You want to force us back into the closet!", I can hear them yelling. Yes, I do. Along with all other sin, but especially sexual sin. I'm tired of reading, hearing, thinking about other people's sins for the sake of legitimizing them. I'm tired of watching it, ad naseum, on TV, in the movies, in theatrical plays, reading it in books and magazines, hearing it in music and seeing it in "art". I have a hunch that there are many like me that think similarly, but we are hushed by contemporary society. I am sorry if I have been indelicate, I tried not to be, but I can only see negative results from having homosexuality normalized by the very-powerful pro-homosexual lobby. And it's gotten just about impossible to fight back. So I thank you, Dr. Geraghty, for standing fast and proclaiming truth. And for lett

Just keeps confirming my theory how self-loathing gay people are. People who are at peace with their lifestyles do not constantly have to tell you how normal they are, or in this case, how much BETTER they are than the rest of us.

Angels is based on the Tony Kushner play about the American homosexual experience. I didn't want to watch it, but I did, and must admit it is one of the most effective pieces of propaganda I have encountered.

I said the same thing after seeing It's Elementary, the video by Academy Award-winning anti-nuke activists Debra Chasnoff and Helen Brown (who are lesbian "life partners") that teaches teachers how to teach their students that homosexuality is normal.
