Correct me if I'm wrong (I know, as a freeper among freepers I don't need to say that, but...) is it just me or does everyone else see that all of the demoncrat dwarves seem to grasp at any particular news item in a given day just to get some mention in the media - if they're lucky even a little face time. I've gotta wonder just how many of the leftist media are still able to convince themselves they aren't pimping for the dwarves...

So the NRA wants its own channel.

Why the long face, John?

Ironically you should mention that, there is a channel for such a group, it's appropriately called, Free Speech TV, all kook, all the time.

That station is totally bazaar (I think it's run out of some gay guys basement). That's what the Al Gore station would be like. A huge hit - NOT!

Hey, Kerry...

What did you use in Viet Nam when you killed all those people?

Yeah, they're way out there. I have no problem with ones exercising free speech. I figure if they have their own channel, why not the NRA? I may not agree with the NRA a majority of the time, but I figure the more the merrier.

Kerry should do the decent thing, enact legislation repealing CFR and shut the f*** up.

It was a government issued weapon - I don't think he has any problem with those.

I can't believe he just came right out and said he wanted the federal government to silence millions of American people. They're not allowed to buy a TV station if they want one? Only Al Gore TV is allowable?
This campain is getting weirder and weider. I think the Democrats are doing too much crack these days.

The NRA should just do it, and cull any rabid varmints that try to violate their Right to Free Speech.

So much for the predictions of the "analysts" who said guns and gun control wouldn't be a factor in this election cycle. That the dems were running from gun control. Well I guess maybe they were right on that part, they've raised their sights one notch, from the second amendment to the first.

But that's OK the amendments act to protect one another, which obviously scares the Shiite out of Kerry, one way or the other.

How much past time is it?

How appropriate, two leftists shaking with their left hands. Must be some sort of commie recognition thing. :)

Kerry is pathetic. Someone please post the idiotic pic of him pretending to hunt...

John Kerry eats dove. Even better, he shoots them. From behind the stalks of a Southern cornfield, he'll watch them flutter and dart, and fire.

"You clean them. Let them hang. It takes three or four birds to have a meal," said the Massachusetts senator. "You might eat it at a picnic, cold roasted. I love dove."

Dove, quail, duck, deer. Kerry described how to hunt and gut them, talking as he sliced through a steak at midnight after campaigning all day in Iowa for the Democratic presidential nomination. Carve out the heart, he said over dinner, pull out the entrails and cut up the meat. Bad table manners, perhaps, or good politics. After Sept. 11, 2001, some Democrats argue, they can't take the White House if they sound like doves. That is not a problem for the dove hunter. More

I don't think smoking crack would have the effect we are seeing. More likey just 'roid rage, augmented by some bad lysergic acid diethylamid, they ingested in the 60s.

If the NRA has something to say, it can play by the rules

The law is the law. What Kerry is saying is right-wingers have to play by "rules" because he doesn't like them. It was idiots like Kerry who signed CFR into law; now they can live with the consequences.

Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry (search) doesn't want to tune in to a National Rifle Association (search) channel anytime soon.

The Massachusetts senator sent Federal Election Commission (search) Chairwoman Ellen Weintraub a letter Tuesday asking the commission to block any attempt by the NRA to get a media exemption to campaign finance rules.

The gun-rights lobby is considering acquiring a television or radio outlet and seeking the same exemption from campaign finance rules that news organizations have. If the group won a media exemption, it would be free to say whatever it wanted about candidates at any time and spend unlimited amounts doing so.

"We urge you to prevent the NRA from hijacking America's airwaves with the gun lobby's money," Kerry's letter said. "If the NRA has something to say, it can play by the rules, just like the millions of people in America who do every day."

Now that Kerry has committed a felony, he's no longer fit for public office in this country, if ever he was.

Does Kerry mean those media exceptions to campaign finance rules the Democrats openly break every election cycle?
