Hillary - Democrats’ Spirit of ’04
NY Newsday ^ | November 17, 2003 | Lawrence C. Levy

Des Moines - In the chilly mist outside the arena, campaign workers had taped and staked hundreds of placards. Since most were a similar shade of blue, as in patriotic red-white-and, the sea of them created a sense of unity. But it was an illusion for a Democratic Party that hasn't been as fractured since the Vietnam Era.

Inside, where nearly 8,000 converged for a raucous fundraiser that signaled the final stretch toward Iowa's first-in-the-nation caucus on Jan. 19, the crowd clapped and screamed as if it were at a rock concert or college football rally. The energy and enthusiasm, which startled many old party hands, turned the cold, damp auditorium white hot.

But when a candidate would send the crowd to its feet, the cheers would disintegrate into a cacaphony of factions competing to outshout each other. It was only different when one person entered and spoke to the warring minions, dominated by busloads of volunteers for Howard Dean, John Kerry, John Edwards and Dick Gephardt. It was only different for Hillary Rodham Clinton.

My fantasy is a Hillary run with an embittered Dean decamping to the Greens.

My fantasy is that a Hillary win coincides with Hinkley's release to travel unaccompanied.

Hillary CANNOT win the election, and I believe she knows it. She is the most hated woman in America! The GOP would drag her through the mud with her Marxist proclivities, and her invetrate lying. She runs, she loses.

She's running. But, she is running for the a Coronation, not success in the Primaries.

The less she has to expose herself to the Media, the better. She needs to maintain complete control and not get asked embarrassing questions. In other words, she is running this campaign as she ran her Senate campaign,... no questions, no answers, just Star Power and adoring fans to carry her over the Finish Line!

Sorta reminiscent of the Wellstone Memorial get-together......the key word being raucous !

She runs, she loses.

If she runs, she may lose. But if she does not run, she will never be President. Nothing else matters.

It's becoming clear even to the Clintonistas that '08 is too late. If Howard Dean is the nominee, his first order of business will be to purge Clintonistas from the Democratic Party and fire Terry McAuliffe. Once Dean has consolidated control of the Party, Hillary! will no longer be able to keep herself in the center of attention, and will have to campaign in '08 on her merits, which are just too thin to win.

So if Hillary! is ever to be President, it must be now. She will probably lose to GWB, but you never can tell. Iraq could still go in the toilet, and the economy could still falter. And if she goes down to glorious defeat in '04, she will still have prevented anybody else seizing control of her Party.

For this reason and many others, not the least of which is unconfined megalomania, Hillary! will run for President in 2004. She will announce this week. I stand by my tag-line.

I do not disagree with either you or your tagline. If this comes to pass, there will be an incredible mobilization of conservatives out to defeat her.It will unify the republicans like never before in history. The truth about this wretch (all of it) will come out in the media It will resemble a war!!

Plus few/no real debates with the President. He'd kick her fat ass.

Plus few/no real debates with the President.

I would be shocked if she agreed to more than one, and that one as strictly controlled and choreographed by a "neutral" Liberal.

He'd kick her fat ass.

That's for sure and she knows it.

But she'll get through it early so the compliant Media could bury her stench in their adoring propaganda for at least four weeks before the dolts and the dead turned out to crown elect her.

"The GOP would drag her through the mud..."

No way. They will have to treat her with kid gloves. She's practically royalty. The media will flay anyone that treats her poorly.

You never know with the sheeple. These people drink up the liberal news and write these stupid letters in their commie rags thinking that Bush is Satan himself.
