I can't take it anymore! I'm cracking up!

We've got all hell breaking loose in Iraq and the Mideast. We've got the Dems in the Senate for the first time in history denying a bipartisan majority of senators their right to vote on judicial nominees.

You've got commentators saying the President should be "Hanged." Presidential candidates calling the President a "Gang Leader." Terrorists are threatening to blow us up just about every day. Environmentalists are threatening to blow us up if we keep driving our cars. PETA is threatening to blow us up if we keep eating meat.

Linda Vester is one of the smartest women in Television and what do they have her doing? They've got her talking to some grandma about how she feels about Scott Peterson.

Enough with the Talk Back Live/Dayside Garbage! Its trash! I want good solid political debate. I don't want to know what Ed from Sacramento thinks about Scott Peterson's facial expressions.

Hannity and Colmes has started a bad habit of beginning their show with Scott/Laci Peterson and calling it their "Top Story." Thats not a top story.

Soldiers being attacked or attacking is a top story. bin laden or Saddam being captured is a top story. People must still be watching or they wouldn't be showing this awful crap!

I want good political debate. As much as I detest it, I would much rather hear Hannity debating with Liberals rather than Scott/Laci/Kobe/.

I've told this story I'm about to tell before, but I'll tell it again for the sake of this commentary. One night I went to bed with the TV on. I woke up in the middle of the night to hear someone screaming.

I quickly looked up and around only to see that it was Rita Cosby screaming at this newspaper editor on TV.

"YOU CAN'T DO THIS!" she screeched!

"THIS IS CENSORSHIP! ARE YOU CRAZY" she screamed!

The story goes that a newspaper editor in Colorado got so many complaints about the over coverage of Scott/Laci/Kobe that he ordered a blackout of the story in his newspaper.

Rita had the owner of the paper on as well at the same time she had on the Newspaper Editor. The Editor was sitting next to Rita, and the owner of the paper was LIVE via satellite.

The owner said that he disagreed with the decision not to cover the Peterson case and Kobe Bryant but that he deliberatly left these decisions up to his editors.

Rita attempted to get the Owner to then fire the editor on the air.

"I THINK SOME CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE AT YOUR PAPER SIR! THIS IS CENSORSHIP! YOU NEED TO GET SOME NEW EDITORS!" Rita yelled.

"WILL YOU BE FIRING HIM?" Rita asked.

The owner replied that he didn't think termination was neccessary and repeated that he disagreed with the decision but that he lets the editors make all the decisions.

"THATS RIDICULOUS!" Rita yelled.

If we get enough people to complain about this we can get this coverage stopped. Imagine how wonderful it would be if Foxnews were to order a complete blackout on this story just like the Newspaper Editor in Colorado did.

Rita Cosby would be looking for a new job!

We've got the numbers in order to influence them. I'm pretty sure O"Reilly is sick of the Laci Peterson stuff as well. When he tosses to Hannity and Colmes he has to say whats coming up on their show.

He usually shakes his head and says "Laci Peterson Again..." with a smirk on his face

Lets make this an ongoing campaign. Boycott Scott Peterson, Laci Peterson, and Kobe Bryant!!!

Greta can have her little legal discussions but keep them ON The Record and Off shows like Hannity and Colmes and Dayside!

Amen!

I am just as sick as you are of all this meaningless blather about Laci and Kobe, there are much more important things that need to be discussed!

Those topics should have a dedicated/separate forum here, as well.

Take a deep breathe and switch over to Comedy Central or TLC. You need a break.

It wouldn't be so bad if they just talked about it on Greta's show. But when its on every show Foxnews has on the air it makes it difficult to watch Foxnews.

It sucks, but we stopped watching TV (aside from sports, CSI, Noggin and DVDs). And the stress level has dropped tremendously.

About the only things worth watching on FNC now are Britt Hume and Cavuto. Hannity has gone tabloid, Rita was always there.

Deep Breaths...Deep Breaths!

I want some actual news. An exception would be like when the man was aquitted the other day for cutting up the body and throwing it in a River.

Its ok to cover that, but anything will get old if its on 24/7.

I too am sick of Scott & Laci & Kobe but my TV has an On & Off switch. Rather than going nuts, as you seem to be doing, I turn the TV Off & freep. I can pick my topics here.

Oh it sucks alright. John Gibson has also apparently gone tabloid. Maybe Foxnews could branch off and have their own Court TV channel.

Your complaints are but a sampling of complaints I have with Fox News at this time...and why I've stopped watching it. I can't stand CNN, but I am sick of the bombast and sensationalist tripe that's hyped on Fox News. It's got to the point that I can't even call it "news" anymore; rather, it's what I call "spews."

These days I'm getting my news strictly online. I can blow off the hype and all the Scott Peterson / Kobe Bryant B.S. in favor of news that actually matters in this world.

My heart goes out to anyone who has to rely on television and the local rag for their news. They're definitely getting the short end of the stick.

Feel better now?

Seriously, I hear you. With all the sh!t going on in the world, why do the networks insist on bringing a panel of "experts" on the air to discuss the "implications" of Scott Peterson's decision to wear a red tie to court for the 167th day of preliminary hearings? Of course, to be totally fair I have to acknowledge that they do occasionally cut away from this story to bring us the latest on how Kobe Bryant missing free throws in practice is evidence that the trial is "taking a toll."

I've gotten to the point where the instant I hear "Scoot/Laci/Kobe" on some talking head show, I change the channel at once. I'm going to send the damned networks a bill for all the remotes I'm going to wear out by doing this.

I agree with you on that. I always thought chopping up a body and throwing it into the river was a crime, even if you were scared. Just further proof that the moron should be in jail. It's obvious he has no mental capability.

I've noticed that Fox and Friends in the morning doesn't cover Laci and Kobe. O'Reilly doesn't either. Those are usually the only ones I have a chance to watch.

I would watch Cavuto and Hume but I'm not home at the time they are on. I would also usually watch Hannity and Colmes but have been tuning out because of the horrible Trash TV Tabloid Scum that they have been airing.
