Please forgive this lousy way to locate a post, but I could not have been the only one to see this. Can someone link to the thread this is on? If no thread was created, then basically here it is: Wellstones son was on Fox and said the funeral for his dad WAS a political rally and pointed out his distaste for McCauliffe.

Interesting news. I'm thinking I might give him a break for his participation in it as being linked to shock over his father's death. But then again, I'll have to read the info. before I make that call.

But for a year solid they have claimed it wasn't a political rally.

Liberals get really pissed off when you point out to them that if Wellstone had been an honest man and kept his promise to the people of Minnesota to only serve 2 terms in the senate Paul would be alive today.

I happened to catch a bit of Wellstone's son...not even sure I realized it was on FOX, nor did I find out why this was on, at this particular time. But you're right, Wellstone is no fan of McAuliffe.
I'm hoping someone else lands on this thread and gives us a better recap of what Wellstone said. There's nothing on the FOXNews website.

Yes, but he found no fault with his "wire haired" brother,
who lead a most sickening display of the "rally cry".
No points from me.

Socialists like Wellstone are trying to steal our money, corrupt our children and destroy our republic. I would gladly urinate on their graves. All of you so-called conservatives need to wake up to the fact that these people are not the opposition, the are the enemy. They should be treated as such.
To: BobbyK
I suspect the groundwork is being laid to put the rally to rest for the purpose of clearing the way for a run for office.

One of the sons was one of the primary perps in making it a political rally. Maybe it is the other son speaking.

I agree with you but for one thing: look at all the sick scumbags who VOTED for Wellstone, electing him and then reelecting him. They, too, are enemies of our families and our nation.
To: Phantom Lord
Yes, "clearing the way for a run for office" because they can not stand being out of the lime light and not being treated special. Their privilege way of life in Washington is gone.
To: StockAyatollah
these people are not the opposition, the are the enemy. hear, hear.

I'm beginning to think that the new Democrat talking points being pushed is that the party lost their way in defining their message, and needs to get back on track. What better way to gain sympathy from the sheep. I can accept the badmouthing of the Democrat party from someone like Zell Miller because he's always been fair, but I can't abide it from a phony like Cuomo, or Wellstone's kid, and some of the others who never spoke out until now. They're getting desperate and will do anything to fool the voter. I don't trust them The Dems have always been the party that will say or do whatever it takes to gain control. They've seen what their hostility toward Bush has wrought, but they're not changing their tune because they want to or actually believe they're wrong, they're changing it out of sheer desperation.
