Donald Trump’s allies tried their best Sunday to tamp down an eruption of stories accusing the Republican presidential nominee of untoward sexual advances against women, as national polls showed the billionaire businessman still within striking distance of Hillary Clinton after a horrendous week.
His running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, said he “couldn’t be more proud” to stand shoulder to shoulder with Mr. Trump, despite the rising tally of women who have accused the presidential candidate of groping and other unwanted advances over the past few decades.
“Donald Trump has made it clear that he categorically denies the allegations that have been made against him this week,” Mr. Pence told the CBS program “Face the Nation.”
Former New York Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani also vouched for the real estate developer.
“I believe my friend Donald Trump when he tells me he didn’t do it,” he told CNN’s “State of the Union” program. “I know Donald. I have been with him for 28 years. I have never seen him do anything like that.”
Mr. Trump has three weeks to make up ground lost in must-win battleground states before voters have their say on Nov. 8....

And here comes the Media polling pivot.
After spending months suppressing the Trump donations and volunteers recruitment efforts with phony push polling. Miraculously in the last 2 weeks the media will suddenly tell us how tight the race is in order to not cause Hillary’s weak base support to decide to stay home on election day.
Give how loathed Clinton is, her voters are showing up because they are more scared of Trump then her. If the polling is showing her winning a lot of them will say “Well they don’t need my vote, I will stay home today”.
I will bet they will never show Clinton behind but they will have the race in “the margin of error” going into the election.
It’s very important for everyone to realize where we’re at and why.
The DNC and Clinton campaign, along with their willing accomplices in the media have thrown everything they have at Trump and it didn’t work and they know it.
Their internal polls are showing Trump up big with no impact from any of this. Make no mistake about it, they are crapping themselves right now big time.
Biased polls are showing Trump up slightly or tied. Unbiased polls are showing him up by double digits. Just imagine what the internals are showing.
I don’t know if anyone saw Trump’s speech from NC last week, the one where he was using teleprompters, but it was EPIC. It really laid everything down on the line.
He needs to use those points in the last debate. Keep the faith!

Common sense would suggest that the RATS would be putting out some kind of positive message, assuming they were as much ahead as the polls claim.
Instead, it’s nothing but nonstop smears.
In poker parlance, I believe that’s called a “tell.”

Some one tell Fox News this. They seem to be beating the horse to death with the theme that Trump is losing, quoting their poll and only polls that show Trump losing.
They thought they were going to knock him out with that nonsense, far from it!
I’ll bet anything that this incident actually increased his share of the black vote.
