Dick Morris, the former Clinton adviser turned Clinton critic, is in talks to join Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, according to one report.
According to New York Magazine, if hired, Morris would join the Trump campaign’s “Hillary unit” to help go after the likely Democratic nominee.
“It’s on the table,” a Trump adviser is quoted as saying about Morris. “Some of the most important info about the Clintons is 20 years old.”
Neither Morris nor Hope Hicks, a spokeswoman for Trump, immediately responded to a request for comment from The Daily Caller on Tuesday.....

I think Trump is smart enough to know where Morris can be trusted (practically nowhere) and where he can’t. Still, this is pretty bizarre.

I can see having Morris on hand against the Clintons, but that is about all. Not some prominent position at all.
Dick Morris hates Hillary Clinton with a passion.
Apparently, it goes back to an incident where Hillary went into a rage and directed racial epithets towards Morris (F***ing Jew, etc...)
Who knows if Morris supports Trump or not, but he’d like nothing better than to destroy Hillary.
Ironically, Morris still seems to have a soft spot for Bill Clinton.
Isn’t Morris renowned for losing every time since he got Clinton re-elected in 1996.

Ordinarily I would be against working with Morris, period. He’s wrong about everything. Read his analysis of any race and then bet on the opposite happening and you could get rich. However, when it comes to Hillary opposition research he could be very useful. He was affiliated with the Clinton Crime family for years. If anyone knows the AR mafia’s dirty secrets it might be him. Who knows...maybe he’ll finally be useful to someone.
So Trump hires him. Use him on the evening Fox cable shows. He can talk a blue streak. He will be loyal to Trump and carry his water. Heck of a lot better than Rove. Maybe hire Billie Krystal.
I no a lot of people don’t like dick Morris but I personally think that he probably has the best read on the Clintons the only ones that understand them better are her inner circle supporters. Trump would be wise to use him as a resource but be wary of any advice as far as action to be taken.
I agree with your observations. Morris is not being hired for his ability to predict the future outcomes of elections.
He is being hired based on his knowledge and observations of Hill and Bill. I know no one who worked for Bill and Hill
who has been as critical of Hill than Morris. Call it opposition research!
So long as they only used him for dirt on Hillary, I’m fine with this.
