Donald Trump, who previously claimed that nobody would ever work with Ted Cruz, lately complains that too many people are working with Ted Cruz. He also says Cruz is being used by the establishment for the sole purpose of stopping the Trump Train (a fitting nickname for something hurtling to such spectacular wreckage.)
His supporters and surrogates love to float the names of those who will be swooped in at the convention to replace both himself and Cruz. One of those names is Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, about whom theyve been particularly conspiratorial-minded the last few days, for obvious reasons. Heres what Walker thinks about that.

The bottom line is I am a hundred percent behind Ted Cruz, I didnt come out against anybody I came out with Ted. I put the whole power of my endorsement, my organization, all my supporters behind making a very clear case that Ted Cruz wasnt a default choice for me he was the choice for me. Im going to support him not only here in the primary, Im going to support him all the way through the convention.
You cant get much more definitive than that. Walker isnt playing a game here, Trump fans. Hes endorsing the candidate he thinks is the best choice for President. So are a lot of other people. Sorry it wasnt your charlatan.
Also Im not sorry.
Why bother with Ashley Cruz.
Let him play with Lollipop2 and Candywrapper2.
Why not just elect Soros, who runs Cruz?
About a week before Walked endorsed Cruz, he was saying that he thought the nominee would be someone “who isn’t currently running.” To go from that to endorsing Cruz sounds suspiciously like he did it only to stop Trump.
If Walker endorsed Cruz when there were five or six or seven or eight candidates still in the race, we could confidently say that Walker really wanted Cruz and thought he could win and make a good president.
Walker waited until there were only three candidates in the race, so isn't it fully possible that he only went with Cruz to block Trump?
Wow. You spew mindless hatred, based on unfounded accusations. Utter hatred, for a fine conservative candidate. You seem to have lost your mind.
That’s so convincing...NOT!
Walker waited until March 29th. I can see how totally committed to Cruz he is.
You guys are really pinning your hopes on that so-called “sex scandal” aren’t you? What if it turns out to be a Roger Stone nothingburger? What’s Plan B for you?
Forge on brother.
With all due respect,
Cruz did NOT deny either Lollipop’s terror and fears
from HIM, or the Gang of Eight, or that one
of his ex-GFs lied about Dr. Carson.
And we ALL watched the liar Cruz vote to allow the
vote on SECRET ObamaTRADe for his entitled (like Hillary)
wife/Goldman Sachs.
Only those that support the lying Cruz have lost their
minds and their ability to discern a Clinton-class
sociopath.
My thoughts exactly:
“Donald Trump, who previously claimed that nobody would ever work with Ted Cruz, lately complains that too many people are working with Ted Cruz. “
Makes sense to me. Walker was my #1 but after he dropped I had to re-evaluate Ted.

Favorable among all voters April 1980:
Anderson: 68
Kennedy: 60
Carter: 51
Reagan: 30 (!)
You do know why you see so many late endorsements, right? It maximizes the impact of their endorsement. If Walker game out 3 months ago his endorsement wouldn’t help much for those on the fence.
If this is proven to be a Stone concocted smear, then the Trump campaign is ruined. Again if it is proven.
“Why not just elect Soros, who runs Cruz?”
Really?
Wow. That’s big.
Super duper big.
Maybe the Mounties will take him back to Canada, eh?

Whatever ‘dirt’ the Madame was able to dig up is going to be very old news. Anything short of murder in the first degree, or episodes of extreme kink, are not going to really matter, so long as the subject is ready to be truthful. The unnamed candidate could say “I’ve seen the error of my ways, and have repented. Next question?”
If Walker endorsed Trump I can tell you what Trump would be saying.
“I have supported Walker over the years and he’s been a wonderful governor. He’s a really really good person too. I mean this endorsement is yuge. He’s the one governor that is taking on left and winning. He knows what it is like to be a winner and he’s backing a winner with his endorsement.”
But instead we get “Walker should have raised taxes” comment from Trump! WTF!! Does Trump even know what the the party should be fighting for? Probably not because he did say education and medical care are two of the three top priorities of gov’t.
