Madness has gripped a segment of the Republican Party that embraces a war on its own voters as unworthy. Instead of blaming himself for a presidential campaign mired at the one percent level of support, failing to make a ripple even in his home state of South Carolina, Senator Lindsey Graham blames the GOP voters who are too driven by irrational, probably racist beliefs. Caitlin Yilek of The Hill reports:
Republican presidential candidate Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) says GOP front-runner Donald Trump is doing so well in the polls because nearly half of Republican primary voters think President Obama is a Kenyan-born Muslim.
âWell thereâs about 40 percent of the Republican primary voter who believes that Obama was born in Kenya and is a Muslim,â Graham told Boston Herald Radio on Friday, according to BuzzFeed News.
âThereâs just a dislike for President Obama that is visceral. Itâs almost irrational,â Graham added....

I think the butt flu is taking its toll on this drama queen.
It is incomprehensible to me how our so-called party leaders have no qualms insulting the people who vote for them. How do we rid our party of the these politicans we elect to represent us, who despise us and do the opposite of what we have elected them to do?
And that is why I support Trump/Cruz. To get rid of the likes of Lindsey Graham (and stop this massive invasion of our country.)
What a closet case.
Obama is destroying the country. 20 trillion in debt. Weakened around the world. Total chaos in the middle east. Blacks rioting here.
He’s a typical beltway insider and he’s owned by his handlers (who obviously have dirt on his lifestyle). Wish he’d drop out and go away.
SC needs to primary this queen.
It’s time for this imbecile to officially switch parties.
Lindsey would sink in the polls after this statement. If it were possible for him to sink any lower in the polls....
Brilliant campaign strategy. I love being called an idiot.
I remember when this guy was the darling of the conservative base, and when he was one of the big movers-and-shakers during the Clinton impeachment years.
Now that he has been completely co-opted and has converted to a far-left Globalist elitist, in the same situation, he would have been one of the most vocal opponents of impeachment.
Think about that for a moment. And think about the powers that are arrayed against us, and their abilities, if they can affect such a change.
If it does not make your blood run cold, nothing will.
My dislike of Obama is quite rational. He’s an extreme liberal, socially and politically, he hates the Constitution, and he wants to redistribute people’s wealth. I think those are plenty of reasons to dislike the bum.
Actually, the majority of us knuckle draggers despise Obama and all he stands for because these positions are diametrically opposed to ours! His ancestry and affiliations are likely the reason he holds those views, but it is the views themselves that we loathe.
Now that he has been completely co-opted and has converted to a far-left Globalist elitist
I suspect he has always been elitist globalist- just hid it better back in clinton days
1% is within the marin of error. He probably has -2%, if that.
Right. Trump is responsible for the rise of terrorism and the meltdown of civilization in the Middle East and Africa </S>.
B.) He has done nothing to suggest that he is an American since he has been in office
C.)Obamas father was a British colonial subject. He not only was not a naturalized citizen on the alleged date of Obamas birth, but indeed never sought naturalization. Therefore Obama could never be a natural-born citizen no matter where he was born.
He is not a natural born citizen. He was never qualified to be the POTUS. He is an usurper. But don't worry, once Trump is President, I'm sure this won't get looked into again. it's just water under the bridge.
Is there a doubt why we despise the GOPe about as much as we do the Muzzie loving commie libs?
Are they still dating?
