Cruz wins Iowa, Trump wins New Hampshire - and the Republicans have a floor fight at the convention
The London Telegraph ^ | December 12, 2015 | Matt K. Lewis

I haven’t seen anyone really go out on a limb yet and make predictions about the Republican primaries. So it's time to engage in some wildly premature political punditry.

This, of course, is risky. There are so many variables. What happens if one candidate drops out and scrambles things? What is more, factors in the political universe - say, God forbid, another terrorist attack - can quickly swing public opinion. (Remember how Ben Carson’s numbers declined after the Paris attacks?)

It is with all these caveats disclosed that I boldly present my picks.

The good news is that these predictions are based on a study of past primary elections, conducted by elections analyst Henry Olsen, who is the co-author of a new book, The Four Faces of The Republican Party....

Damn, that was easy. Lets all pick up and go home and rest until next November when we get to see who our overlords install without our vote.

Trump up 20% per Fox poll in South Carolina, 27 Feb Primary. Trump up in all Super Tuesday states except Colorado that had Carson winning and no poll in Vermont. I don’t think so.

Two states and the race is over? Hogwash. I will give it to the British press, they are more attuned to telling the truth about our country than our rabid liberal dinosaur media is. Kudos to the Brits!!

The winner of the Iowa caucus hasn’t won the nomination in a very long time.

It’s been a long time since the winner of the Iowa GOP caucuses went on to win the nomination. When was the last time that happened?

“Cruz wins Iowa, Trump wins New Hampshire - and the Republicans have a floor fight at the convention”

Right. Because apparently the London Telegraph doesn’t realize that there are more than two states in the United States of America.

For a couple decades now, Iowa is completely meaningless and NH close. Caucus states don’t mean a whole lot anymore. NH is small. The real race is after NH.

Or not. H. W. won Iowa and Reagan won New Hampshire. There was no floor fight

Good company, you keep

How pathetic.

He keeps company with folks who put their money where their mouth is instead of putting their lips where lips don't belong.

Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate as the next President.
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other FReeloader

PS - If you are one of those who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....

GO CRUZ!! Keep it up Trump!!

Donate to FR

Donate to Cruz

Donate to FR
