Donald Trump attacked Ted Cruz tonight, first accusing him of loving oil too much because “oil pays him a lot of money†and saying he’s got go come a long way on ethanol or something.
Cruz is not against ethanol as The Donald suggests. Cruz has said we need an all of the above approach on energy, but it needs to be driven by the market and not by the federal government picking winners and losers via federal subsidies.
Later on Trump attacks Ted Cruz’s evangelical Christian faith, saying “I do like Ted Cruz, but not a lot of evangelicals come out of Cuba…Not a lot come out.â€
Trump said this after pointing out that he himself is an evangelical Christian who really loves Franklin Graham:

It's pretty laughable when he attacks someone else's faith.
Cruz has his weak points but Trump missed the mark. On the other hand, who knows if this report is accurate?
I have never vacillated between Cruz and Trump. I just don’t trust Trump, never have, never will.
LOL, Trump couldn’t even name a favorite verse when asked. Couldn’t he even think of John 3:16? He must have seen it at a football game.

"It is blatantly false to suggest that Sen. Cruz wants to end the Renewable Fuel Standard while maintaining subsidies for oil," Cruz spokesman Rick Tyler said. "Cruz has repeatedly stated that he would end all energy specific subsidies, both ethanol and oil among others."
Earlier this year in a speech delivered at Heritage Action in Washington, D.C., Cruz said, "Big government energy mandates don't stop with ethanol. There are tax credits for almost every form of energy. Each designed to give one industry a leg up over the other."
Yawn. Umpteenth post stirring up the same trouble. Who cares.

Media is blowing this out of proportion. It was more like a joke. He had nice things to say about Cruz too.
Sure is. Trump had a lot of nice things to say about Cruz.
Don’t be surprised that a lot of his camapign staff starts quitting and resigning in droves.
Heard he has a lot of yes men who are afraid to tell Trump the truth.

I’m for Cruz at this point, but Trump has been very good for the nation. Very good. I’m thankful for him.
He had a lot of nice things to say about Cruz, and he had some not so nice things to say about Cruz.
Honestly, it’s political banter, nothing below the belt, who cares, let the best man win!
